The submarine action in Hunter Killer was video game-y, but it was good escapist fun. Captain Flint from Black Sails was in it too. Par.

Faster, par. Better than I thought it was going to be, but not great or anything. The ending was somewhat obvious all along.

Invisible Man.  360 degree around and dropping in par.

It was so-so.  Good thing I didn't watch it in theaters.  It would have been disappointing.

The Thomas Crown Affair (Brosnan/Russo version), birdie. Just a fun little jaunt. It's almost a par upon having seen it several times, but… yeah. Still a birdie for me.

Agree, definitely a birdie...

I watched Bad Boys For Life and Collateral Beauty this weekend, the Will Smith connection was a coincidence.

Bad Boys For Life I give a birdie, I thought it was good and a good close to the trilogy.

Collateral Beauty I give a birdie as well, I didn't think going into it I would like it that much, but it was a good story and thought all of the actors did a good job.

Good Boys, birdie. I thought it was going to be one thing, but it was better than that. It's not a movie you watch twice, though, that's for sure.

Frozen 2 - Lip out for double-bogey.  My kids loved it, and thought it was better than the first, but then they also think Kidz Bop is great music and eat their own boogers.  It was boring and predictable, with none of the catchy songs.

Onward - 12 footer for par.  Not to the level of other Disney fare, but not terrible.  The twist at the end was not expected.

Can you tell that I've been on lock down with the children?  At least we got to finish Ozark.

The Lighthouse.

Par.  Its more of a thriller than a horror, I think?  Willem Dafoe and that guy from Twilight are really good in this.  Not so scary in my mind, but still a creepy show.

Never watched any of the Fast and Furious movies, started with 5. It was a fun... ride. Par.

I've watch all of them for mindless fun.  One (or two?) of them has Gal Gadot before she was well known.

Also watched 6 and 7. I think I got the trilogy that's the best of the series.

Started the Star Wars saga with my almost nine year old daughter and seven year old daughter, and two seven year old sons.  We've decided to begin with Episode I - The Phantom Menace, and work our way through all of the movies - even the side stories - in order.  They are completely, and utterly hooked, and that's the worst one that I've seen.  I grew up on the original trilogy, so it was tough sitting through this, but it was so awesome seeing them get so excited.  I must have fielded 100 questions during, and after, the movie, culminating in the question/demand; "Daddy... tell me EVERYTHING you know about Star Wars!"  "Well kids... it can only get better, after the cartoonish Jar-Jar Binks, et-al."

40 foot putt for bogey... just because the kids got so into it.

The hate for Jar Jar is so overblown. He isn't terrible, and he doesn't have that much screen time to be that hated. The hate is mostly because he was the central figure head to what people called a money grab by Lucas to create toy sales.

I need to rewatch the first 6 movies again. I tend to just watch Episode 3 (My personal favorite). Mostly because Episode 2 is horrendous.

The last new movie I watched was Onward by Pixar. I loved this movie. I grew up playing D&D, and love fantasy novels and stories. So, this movie made me laugh a lot. It's also another Pixar heartwarming movie. They do good movies. I give it a Birdie.

Irishman  and Donnie Brasco - both birdie.  Somehow I got into true story based gangster movies lately.

Extraction (on Netflix) - tap in par. The plot line is boring, but the action scenes are good.  Good for mindless entertainment.

    • Been a bit of delay in updates but I needed to come back east as my mom's health has taken a serious turn for the worse. In a 3 day span we learned she had a tumor to she has stage 4 cancer and stopped eating and drinking for the most part. She has had a rough 3 months but certainly didn't think we'd be at the point of setting up hospice for her. My mom was never into any sports really other than following the Red Sox because my dad was a big fan. She always cared about what we were involved in including asking about how golf went.  I have kept up with my 5 minutes of daily practice and will go to the gym here in NH tomorrow morning. Despite the somber nature of this trip my family has commented more than a few times about my weight loss so it's important to me to keep it up. I know my mom always wanted us happy in whatever we did so I'll continue with my fitness journey keeping that in mind.
    • Day 109- Putting drills on a putting green for 20 minutes.
    • Day 252: did a stack session. Did some slow rehearsal swings during breaks.
    • Day 82: 3/18/24 Tried a Stack session but could not certify my warmup. Finished with indoor chips and putting.
    • Day 96 (18 Mar 24) - Continued work with the Divot Board with the GW and hard foam balls.  Focused on small target/small miss…setup to hit target about 30yds out - success if it hit within 6’ circle of target, fail if outside.  Had decent success averaging about 3 out of 4 (hitting in groups of four).
