Scarlett Johansson's tasty bits?! Eagle.

I'd be lying if I said that that didn't play at least a small role in my decision to rent it in the first place.

Really? Maybe it's just me, but not much was shown. Yes, she was in her birthday suit, but if you're gonna watch this just for that, I think you might be disappointed, say compared to Helen Hunt in her last movie , 9 Songs. :-D

What did you think of the movie @nevets88?

I'd give it a tap-in birdie. It's not really sci fi or horror, but more social commentary. Very disturbing. That scene at the beach. I've seen Glazer's Sexy Beast, so I knew to expect something out of the ordinary. I liked movies like Holy Motors and Upstream Color, so take my rating with a grain of salt. Some of the scenes were shot with real people, not actors, they didn't know they were being filmed. I would think Lucy is more sci fi-ish and that has Scarjo in it.

Shucks. *Immediately crosses it off the "To-Watch" list*

There's plenty of nudity but not just of Scarjo. To me, it wasn't titillating. The movie is so disturbing though, it's like being served ice cream and rotted meat at the same time.

This is a Guinness commercial made by the director. Yes, a beer commercial, not a Calvin Klein ad.

UK version of Interstellar trailer. Some scenes not in US version. I am so pumped for this movie. Sci fi and Christopher Nolan and spaceships.

I give Saving Mr.Banks a par. Although it's not a movie I'm sure I could watch again, I found this to be a very pleasant film. It's been a while since I've seen Emma Thompson in anything, and I must admit she still has great acting chops.

I watched "the double" with Jesse eisenberg last night, to describe with a golf shot it's 3 off the tee, straight into a bunker, 2 to get out, poor approach, skull across the green, a duff chip before picking the ball up and moving on! Awful! However, if you don't like me, it was brilliant! Be sure to watch it right till the end!

Watched Primal Fear (again) last night because nothing else was on.  It's just not the same the second time through.  (Don't want to give anything away so I won't expand on that)  Still a great movie though (Edward Norton's debut), and I'd give it a solid birdie.

I always liked that movie. Haven't seen it in a while but I have an uncanny ability to enoy the same movie time after time. My wife thinks I'm crazy (I wouldn't argue that point) and sometimes as she's walking through she'll say "How many times have you seen that movie?"

"Day of Siege" by Renzo Martinelli is a relatively well done movie. It seems to follow history pretty well.

Here is a quick synopsis of the History.

Watched "The Family" over the weekend. I give it a tap in par. Pretty typical action comedy that doesn't take it self to seriously. Just something to fun to watch, it was very enjoyable.

I convinced my wife to sit through The Worlds Fastest Indian the other night.  I've seen it numerous times, and I always seem to enjoy it, so I give it an easy par.

I watched Looper the other day.

It lipped out a birdie putt. Got a little too slow at times.

I also watched The Other Woman . Double bogey. Not even a little funny.

People have been telling me to see this and I finally did. Very intriguing. It's the $1 movie of the week on iTunes. Birdie. I wished it spent more time comparing the copy to the original though. Probably mentioned before but looking back a few pages I didn't see it.

Watched Twelve Year a Slave tonight.

I would give it a birdie even though it was depressing. Some things humans can figure out a way to justify are disturbing.

    • Day 107 - More pitching practice, playing around with trajectory.
    • Yea Club Rat said it. I really enjoyed the Senator and the Judge, then over to Grand National where there a couple good courses plus a fun par 3. The one I do play whenever I visit there is Ross Bridge; something about this course that is just good fun. I hope to play more of the courses in the future, but tomorrow is promised to no one, so hope is the key word. Have Fun, iSank

    • Day 56: 4/19/2024 Okay, even though I'll be teeing it up in a tournament in less than a week. I couldn't find time to get to the range today.  I spent time on the indoor putting mat.  And I spent time in front of the mirror with my 7 iron. Then again later with the driver.  I also thoroughly cleaned all my clubs.
