Blasphemy!!!!

Guardians of the Galaxy - Par.  I enjoyed it but only at par level.

The Skeleton Twins - with Kristen Wiig and Bill Hader.  Par.  Warning, Very serious movie, not a comedy.

I'd give Guardians of the Galaxy a lip out birdie, tap in par. I found it to be very enjoyable. Some things I found just to over the top. If execution was better I think it would be a solid birdie.

Got to see The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies over the holidays, I would give it a tap in bogey. I found it enjoyable, but I really couldn't get into the characters. I found it to be about half and hour too long. Honestly the whole series should be about one movie less.

Dracula: Untold

Birdie.

Very enjoyable movie and worth a watch but not sure how many times I'd re-watch it. Really enjoyed the fact that the ex-bad guy has turned good but then goes back to bad and you sincerely want him to win over the even more evil guy. Generally not into vampire movies but liked it a lot.

It's hard to describe this movie w/o giving anything away, basically it's a low budget take on alternate realities. I'd give it a par, yes, it's a mind**** but it's a bit one note.

Hmmmm.... Well, I guess if it comes on Netflix I'll see it.

It's on Amazon Prime if you happen to be a member. I noticed Locke is on it recently. I'd give that a birdie - it's just Tom Hardy on the phone, driving in a car, but it's Tom Hardy.

Yeah I saw Locke also, birdie for me as well. He's such a good actor. Even in a crap movie like Warrior he's great.

Couple of movies before I forget "One call missed" - snow man. What ever you do Make sure you do miss this call to watch this movie.. Troy - classic birdie, I just wanted to see what would happen next the whole time... At some points I found my self rooting for Troy but then I would root for the Greeks and finally I just wanted to see all of them die. The priests were especially annoying and typically sending the king of Troy to his doom on several occasions. If they would have just shut up! Classic line from them, no don't burn the horse its a gift for the gods?? It's an old movie so I'm sure I'm not ruining it for anyone right? (By the way since I am in KSA it was more of a pg13). I was rooting for Achilles when they invaded the beach and he let Hector go to fight another day. Of course the priests pushed the king to try and finish the Greeks against the advice of Hector so at that point you knew what was going to happen.. I knew Achilies would kill Hector when they fought, but I then wanted Troy to somehow win after that.. The worst part of the movie is that you knew the whole time that they would drag the horse into their fortress! But the best part could literally be seeing the Greek kinda get killed in the end! Sorry for the unstructured post, but iPhone doesn't make it easy, anyway hope I didn't ruin the movie for anyone ;)

Predestination.... Interesting movie. Probably a lipped out birdie. Not a lot I can say about it, just one of those movies you have to watch I guess.

This is a complex time travel/time loop movie. You will get a mondo headache unravelling it. Some mind blowing concepts on gender and sex mixed in with time looping.

Jusy for back from Annie 2014. My 9 year old daughter loved it and my wife enjoyed it. I give it a bogey. Awful just plain bad acting all around. Cameron Diaz may have been the worst offender of the group.

I finally saw the last hobbit movie.. I'm pretty disappointed to say the least. In my opinion they left too many gaps. I'm going to go back and think of the important ones in terms of time line that leave me wondering what the hell is wrong with these people.. I give it a bogey.

Saw a bunch of documentaries. The Unknown Known, Blackfish, The Lance Armstrong Lie, Fed Up, Honor Dairies, 20 Feet from Stardom. Pars to all except Fed Up and Honor Diaries, birdie.

Yes, I liked Primer, would give it a birdie. Even though it's low budget, it was a compelling story and you're fixated on figuring out how it all fits together.

Predestination - there's nothing like it and I don't think it'll have the wide appeal of a Minority Report/Looper - there's a massive exposition dump in the beginning, so not much action. It's the sex/gender/recursion part that I haven't seen in any movie before, I shook my head a did a massive WAT? Holy ****ing ***t!

• Hobbit 5 Armies - Double bogie (thank goodness it's done, while LOTR was incredible and done about as good as it could have been done, they just butchered the entire classic story of the Hobbit for all three movies)
• Exodus Gods and Men - Double bogie - What a great idea.  But when you go hoping for a 10, and you get a 5, it just feels like a 2

Agreed, saw it on the plane. Definite birdie (jumps to an eagle because, let's face it, all movies get extra points when you're stuck on a plane), just a great, fun movie.
