I am getting to be more and more a Titleist fanboy it seems, but definately still a mixed bag here. There is certainly no good reason not to mix brands, so long as the bits are working for you. And I certainly don't think using only one brand makes your bag more "professional" looking when people check your sticks around the first tee. Perhaps just the opposit.

Let's see ... Driver: Nike VR_S Covert Tour 3-Wood: Adams Speedline Fast 12 2-Hybrid: Mizuno MX-700 3-PW: Nike VR Forged Pro Combo SW: Titleist Vokey Spin Milled LW: Callaway Forged Wedge Putter: Nike Unitized A little Nike-heavy at the moment, but not really on purpose. I tend not to care for many Callaway or Ping clubs, but it's not a hard rule or anything. (I had a Callaway LW in my bag all year, for instance.)

In my bag:

Driver: Titleist TSi3 | 15º 3-Wood: Ping G410 | 17º 2-Hybrid: Ping G410 | 19º 3-Iron: TaylorMade GAPR Lo |4-PW Irons: Nike VR Pro Combo | 54º SW, 60º LW: Titleist Vokey SM8 | Putter: Odyssey Toulon Las Vegas H7

I'll admit to being a Taylormade 'homeboy.' Their gear just seems to work best for me. Only other sticks in the bag are a couple of Vokey wedges and an Odessy putter. dave

The ultimate "old man" setup:

Ping G30 driver
Ping G Fairway woods - 5 and 7 woods
Callaway X-Hot #5 hybrid; Old school secret weapon
Ping G #6-9 irons; W and U wedges
Vokey 54 and 58* Wedges
Odyssey Versa Putter
Golf Balls

Don't have a preference, I just go with whatever feels good and works, my set includes Cleveland, TM, Titleist, Ping and soon, Scratch. If I include all my clubs, I think I own almost every major brand out there, Callaway, Hogan, Mizuno, Tommy Armour, Wilson, Cobra. The only major brands that never made a club I wanted to buy are Nike and Adams.

Right now, I have Nike and Titleist in the bag. I used to have all Titleist in the bag from driver to the ball, but when I decided to get blades, as much as I wanted to stay with Titleist, Nike had the more aesthetically appealing look at address. When the Covert outperformed the 910s in my bag, I replaced those as well.

I've tested many other clubs, but nothing else really stood out in performance compared to Nike or Titleist. If I'm shopping for new clubs, I usually look at these two and then look into other brands.

Best Regards,
Ryan

I haven't changed my in the bag in awhile, but I usually stick to Titleist woods, Cleveland irons and wedges (may switch to mizuno next not sure) and a scotty cameron putter.  I don't know many people that play only one brand unless they're sponsored.

I guess I have a mix.

Ping G15 driver

Cobra 3W (metal)

Adams 3 hybrid

Nickent 4 & 5 hybrid

6-LW Callaway X22 irons

Taylor Made putter.

I am not brand loyal and as you can see I purchase a lot of my "weapons" from the used club bins.  Saves a lot of $ that way.  I did purchase the putter new however.

When I bought my clubs this spring I hit 3 brands in the store, Callaway X Hot, Ping i20, and TaylorMade Rocketblades.  I ended up picking the i20s and took almost every club possible, 1, 3, 5 wood, 3-9, PW, UW, LW.  I went back the next day and picked up a Ping Redwood putter.  I don't have any special allegiance to Ping, I simply hoped there would be some manufacturing consistency across the clubs that would make learning to hit them somewhat easier.  I did pick up a black Ping kickstand bag at the time too and that was mostly cosmetic but damn does the setup look sharp. B-)

I'd consider it slightly odd if a person played the same brand through the entire bag.............HEY....Write me a check, and I'll do it....otherwise, not so much..LOL

I believe a golfer needs to make some brand choices to maintain a certain level of consistency, but not through the entire bag.

What I play is in the SIG

What's in Paul's Bag:
- Callaway Big Bertha Alpha Driver
- Big Bertha Alpha 815 3-wood
- Callaway Razr Fit 5-wood
- Callaway Big Bertha 4-5 Rescue Clubs
-- Mizuno Mx-25 six iron-gap wedge
- Mizuno Mp-T4 56degree SW
- Mizuno Mp-T11 60degree SW
- Putter- Ping Cadence Ketsch

Mine is pretty mismatched I guess.  lol.  Not as much as some though.  I am brand loyal but I will try a lot first and go with what I like the feel of or look of best.  That's how I'm going to make my decision.

Callaway XR 9.5 + 1, Taylormade R15 3 Wood, Burner 3 Rescue, Callaway XHot 5H, Warbird 4H, Nike Vapor Fly 6-AW Irons, Titleist Vokey 54, 60 Wedges, Taylormade Rossa Fontana Putter, Srixon Z-Star Tour Yellow.

Best Score 2017:  82 (Traditions at the Glen, Par 70)

Favorite Course - Conklin Players Club (Par 72) - Best Score 86

Ain't nothing wrong with that if you like it! Titleist makes great equip. My first set of irons were DCI Oversize+ Black. I still have them because I liked those clubs so much and couldn't part with them.
