On the sole plate, next to the 'speed slot' the shiny, threaded (?) screw-in button flew off during practice. So what? Should i fill the hole coz the interior seems empty so maybe could fill with sand or dirt. What to do? I'll try the pro shop, maybe buy a new button. If not, maybe use a hunk of lead.

That "button" as you call it is actually a weight. CALL Taylormade and they should take care of you.

How much could such a weight weigh? One, 5, 10 grams?  Will TM tell us the weight?  I can't get another button, not in USA, so thought to plug hole with homemade weight but may not be able to make the weight removable. Am thinking of a solid lead plug, even an old fishing weight carved to fit and screwed in then epoxy over the top. Good idea but how heavy to go? I suppose i could fill the entire cavity with, hmm, what? Squirty foam, tiny glass beads, sand, etc then epoxy the hole.

Update, for what it's worth. I see on Ebay these  buttons for sale, said to be genuine TM for the RBZ and weighing in at 10 grams. Frankly too expensive for me, mostly due to shipping costs. I'll go for the homemade 10g button. If ever i'm back in USA i might call TM but till then i need those extra 40 yds the 10 gms will give me.
