I have a feeling despite the c word, everyone has the same idea and the courses and ranges are packed today.

The range was packed. Most courses were still closed up here.

Any course that was open today on LI had a packed tee sheet.

I woke up today to a beautiful, sunny day, albeit brisk.  But my course didn't open until Noon due to a frost delay.

I was able to play today.   It felt great.  Temps were near 60­º but the wind was strong.   3 hours but it meant jumping a hole and coming back to play it later.

Almost time here - 97% of the snow is gone.  It rained ALL day yesterday and forecast Rain Thurs, Sat, Mon, Wed.... 
Local Range opened last weekend, Just got an email - one of the local 18 hole courses open Sat (weather permitting).  Ground here is thawing, but, still real wet....

@dennyjones Remember how to swing a club? LOL

I've been swinging a club at least once per week at the local athletic club.   They have 3 hitting bay nets and a nice new simulator.    I did take a picture of snow on the practice putting green though!

A course near me has done major renovations to their club house.   They have added 4 simulators, upgraded their menu, added a variable putting green with very reasonable winter rates.   $600 from November 1st thru March 31st.   2 hr/day time limit.   I think that will help with the winter blues.
