@iacas here on Long Island, NY we were spoiled for 2 years of very mild winters. It sucks because of the snow. Temp wise not so bad. Still snow sucks.

Michigan here, but I share the same feeling about snow. I actually don't mind the cold weather, it's the snow that I hate. 20* and some sun is a beautiful day. Even 10* and sun is good. Snow, if I never saw another snowflake in my life I would not be disappointed.

Some of you guys are wimps. Snowiest winters? Cold? C'mon… 😉 It's still in the teens. Erie had, what, nearly 200" of snow the one year and the other year we didn't get high temps into double digits for like three weeks straight. 😄

This winter has been nothing so far.

Everything is relative. There’s a reason I don’t live in Erie or Racine or whatever.

None of our winters are shit compared to Antarctica 😜

I think in general, last year's winter was pretty mild, so people are comparing this year to last. Maybe a larger portion of the country is snowbound this year? Or it's people stuck indoors for the better part of a year just having had enough.

Erie gets more snow than Antarctica. It is mostly a desert. Worcester, MA supposedly leads the nation this year in snow. They tend to get a lot more than the Boston area and it’s only 50 miles away.

The cold bugs me more than the snow this year. I’m not doing the gym or indoor ranges until the virus has subsided. So I have to bundle up for my net practice or outside range work.

Yeah, it's killing me I can't go to an indoor range. FWP though.

Yep.

Erie is about 23" below our norm right now.

Where's the kid in you?! 😊

At age 65, I'm afraid he's long gone in terms of playing in the snow. When I was a kid I couldn't get enough snow. Snowforts, snowballs, and playing on the backyard hockey rink, it truly was a winter wonderland. Now, it's just gets in the way and makes driving dangerous and slow.

    • Day 56: 4/19/2024 Okay, even though I'll be teeing it up in a tournament in less than a week. I couldn't find time to get to the range today.  I spent time on the indoor putting mat.  And I spent time in front of the mirror with my 7 iron. Then again later with the driver.  I also thoroughly cleaned all my clubs.
