Hope all is well. Looks like Toronto Hydro has its hands full.

Kill slow play. Allow walking. Reduce ineffective golf instruction. Use environmentally friendly course maintenance.

No power was lost where I live, about half an hour outside of downtown Toronto. A few of my neighbor's trees fell. Luckily, no cars or homes were damaged. It's amazing how all the trees here are coated with ice about an inch thick.

Good to hear. Going up to visit relatives soon, their power is out, so got a hotel. Hope the situation stabilizes. Looks like no state of emergency so far.

I live in eastern Michigan and we still have power outages several days after the ice storm.   Several business are still without power and we are getting some snow on top of the ice that hasn't melted yet.

From the land of perpetual cloudiness.   I'm Denny

Yeah, same issues here in Oakville (near Toronto), ice is still around and now some snow on top if it. Good day to stay indoors and enjoy the Holiday.

However, it is one day closer to Spring!!

    • I would say your back nine is the second nine you play that day. It's part of what makes getting some of those holes tougher. Or, if 18 holes are played pretty often, out of A, B, and C, and you often play A and C, A is the front and C is the back, regardless of the order you play them in. That way not birdieing C #7 isn't overcome by birdieing the easier A #7 on a day you played it C-A instead of A-C. But, at the end of the day, nobody really cares except yourself.
