Swing Plane Perfector?? Has anyone used this??

I have run across this searching the web with something to help my swing plane.  I have got some great tips to help my swing from this site, but I need a visual to make sure I'm practicing the right way.  What do you all think of this? Has anyone purchased and used it? Or does anyone have any ideas on how to mimic what they have?  It comes from the UK and its over 200 US dollars.

If you have grass, you can of course just stick a driveway marker in the grass.

I have grass during the summer,  but in winter have to hit off mats.  Plus with weather right now have to hit from a garage off mats.  I went ahead and ordered one.  They told me should arrive around the 3rd of January.  Will give everyone an update on how well they really work.

Hope this really helps with my take way and my in to out downswing.  Plus the awesome tips mvmac has given me to work on.

My instructor suggested a 6' driveway marker with a swim noodle for better visual effect.   I believe it has helped my game.

I have used one for 3 months and i have to say that it does everything they say it will do , on a mat its so easy you just slide the prongs under and the weight of the mat holds it steady, i cannot think why anyone who practices hard wouldn't need one of these they are that good.

I checked out the site and agree that it looks like a great training aid for when you're stuck practicing off of mats which is frequently my situation, unfortunately with an advertised price of £116 (about 190 USD) I think I'll pass. Most of my training aids are home-made as the "real" ones are usually so incredibly overpriced.

I was also surprised that they set-up so the player is swinging over the aid, I would've thought it would be more effective to set-up so you're swinging behind the aid and not hitting it. How do y'all set-up with driveway markers, over or behind?

The tripod is just holding the club at an address angle.    The concept is to swing under the noodle.    This is a driveway marker covered with a swim noodle.

Yeah, under makes more sense to me. I suppose it will work either way and just comes down to what you prefer and what exactly it is you're working on, if it's your backswing that you're working on I guess the other way works better, but it seems to me that if you're swinging over the stick you could swing OTT all day long and not get any feedback.

Just as a reply to the OTT concept when you look at good iron players they generally will have their shaft parallel  to the base line at the position of shaft parallel to the ground on the way down, it is also around 2-4 inches further forward (towards the ball) than the backswing, so if used properly you shouldn't hit the inclined stick , as i said earlier it works very well for me.

Just seen a great review of the swing plane perfector , i have been using this equipment for a while and its awesome, my improvement in ball striking has been massive and it can fix pretty much any fault if used in one of its myriad of ways , you have to check this out !!
