I'm with @D-Man on this. People need to lighten up. Insulting him isn't a mature way of dealing with this. The mods/owners aren't doing themselves any favors here either, I thought @iacas 's responses on what @Kelzzy 's handicap was came across as a bit of a dick move.

I would highly advise going to Kelzzy's profile and reading through his post.  There is a reason the adults on here are treating him the way they are.

If you guys had seen the PMs and the several hours a few nights ago he spent making alternate accounts and spamming, I imagine you'd feel differently.

I am with @ScouseJohnny on this one. Golf is pretty easy when you are a kid and don't have a job, a wife, a kid that all want your attention. Once you finally get a few moments to yourself you want to get out to the course and play.

Kelzzy is still a kid, so I find it difficult to talk to him the way I would an adult.

However, I think that many of the comments directed towards him are in line with what you would expect of an internet forum. If anyone states something that does not make sense, the responses would naturally be something to the effect that that something does not make sense.

If he was my child, I would not be proud of the way he has behaved.  I would also not allow him to be on this forum with that behavior.  Thankfully, my son never was like this.

Thanks for the encouragement. I've been lurking here for almost a year now and the site is a great resource. I'm still in a position where I get more by reading what the experts write than I can contribute by writing. On the topic at hand I haven't discovered the key to a great game yet (hell, I'd settle for a key to a great swing), but still hoping it exists.

I have been going back through this and I am very disappointed. As a high school student I want to apologize for him and assure you that most high school students are actually not that bad. There will always be some bad eggs but I hope that you don't hold it against all teens. Thanks for reading my little rant. :)

No need to apologize for him, we know most young people are decent and have good intentions. Life goes on.
