I revived this thread because I shot the lowest score of my life today. 65 (-7) at my home course Rating/Slope 71.6/123. I have been playing really well lately and had a feeling I had it in me to go pretty low.

Stats:

Score-33-32=65 (-7)

Fairways Hit- 8/14 57%

GIR-17/18 94%

Total Putts- 32

I shot a 54 once... It would have been a 52 if the clowns mouth did not stop hit my ball!

But seriously, I have shot 65 a few times but my best round I can ever remember was a 68 with 2 doubles on Taiyo G.C in Okinawa Japan!

I have shot a 77 a bunch of times this season which is 5 over. I had a great round going yesterday, shot even par on the front and took 2 bad double bogeys on the back and a couple of bad bogeys due to putting to finish at 6 over. They just finished top dressing our greens the last time so the speed increased quite a bit and really has thrown me off, finally getting them down so I hope to go out today and go low.

I shot a 70 at The Westlake, Smith Mountain Lake, Virginia about 8 years ago.  Bogeyed the last hole.  My son was with me and he railed me for not getting the 69.  Has not let me live it down to this day.

I shot 75 (+3) the day my son was born in 1996 (I was an 8 handicap at the time).  I shot 73 (+3) earlier this year on a local course with a 12 handicap.  Twice I have shot -2 for 9 holes.
