You cannot have the club shafted one degree open becuase the one degree open is created through the hosel beside the face. If you reshaft the club it will still be slightly closed no matter what you do. Unless you can see if someone can bend the clubs hosel open one degree without compromising the integrity of the club.

Yes and no. You can have the shaft PURED, which for anyone that doesnt have this done, its the best $10 you can spend in golf equipment, and have the head shafted 1 degree open to the spine. It will never sit on the ground 1 degree open, but you can get it shafted 1 degree open.
