I'm booked at WGV for April 18-20. Where should we play? Looking for good courses but nothing over $100. Will be playing 36 one day so any recommendations for a place we can turn two and still have time for drinks by the pool would be awesome. Thanks!!

Why not just play on-site? Slammer & Squire and King & Bear, two 18 hole courses that I have heard are pretty good, and definitely look nice on TV and on the road passing by. By Mid-April I doubt they are over $100, especially if you are staying at the WGV.

Yep, no brainer.  I've played both and they're both very good.  You'll save some money looking for them on GolfNow and booking a "hot deal".  Even now they're in the $80-$90 range as such.

Unfortunately, other than Sawgrass, I don't have any other insight to the Jacksonville area.  Again, I'd look on GolfNow and check the player reviews though.  They tend to be pretty unbiased.
