Downhill Lie

@iacas and @mvmac ,

Could you post a video at some point on how to handle these shots?  I still struggle with them.  I set up where I align my body to the slope, but I seem to lose the shots to the right a lot even though my normal shot shape is a draw.

They are tough to practice too because the ranges I go to don't have any area with this lie.

We'll try, but in the short term… out the ball more forward in your stance.

On uphill shots, the opposite.

Note that both of those are the opposite of what you commonly hear.

Consider where a downhill lie is likely to move your front shoulder.

Farther forward. So you put the ball farther forward. The advantage too is that it helps you hit the ball higher, too, to counter-act the downhill lie.

Got it. Thanks. Course match play this morning did slightly opposite on wet fairway and didn't carry to elevated green. Low ball flight that hung up in the wet fescue front fring. Let me try again.
