I'm not necessarily following every report, but I am keeping tabs on whats coming out.

My opinion, he should come back to Cleveland.  Irving and Wiggins are obviously young, but can probably contribute on a more consistent basis than his support in Miami.  If Gilbert can find a way to get Kevin Love, that team would be scary good.  Add in the very rare opportunity to bring a championship to his home town... Lebron's image is important to him and coming back to Cleveland, winning a championship would make "The Decision" just a bump in the road.

Yep.  And by now, it's getting a little un-newsworthy until he actually decides something and tells the media.  Four years ago none of us thought he'd actually leave.  Hindsight being 20-20, I most certainly don't know if he'll come back.  What I do know is Miami doesn't have much past the Big 3.  Looks like D Wade is the only one who would stay for sure.  Chris Bosh will leave for the Rockets if LeBron goes.

That said, something off-the-wall usually happens.  Will LeBron team up with Melo in NYC?  I think that scenario might be more in play than coming back to Akron to play for the CAVS.  He still has his home 10 minutes from where I live.  He probably wants his kids in nice, safe private schools, then go to HS at St V&M; where he attended.

All in all, Akron area isn't a bad place to raise his young family.  His wife is from here.  Mom still lives here.  A guy like LeBron with a young family needs all the support network he can find.  That's the flipside.

If he ends up back here, great.  We enjoyed the heck out of watching him mature into the NBA MVP player he is today.  CAVS most definitely have more upside than Heat, Knicks and Lakers.  That's for sure.

We'll see.  Decision II.  Just make it one way or the other.

Good to see Lebron come back to his home down. He was always an Ohio guy. He knows he made a mistake with the way he handled the "Decision",  and has said as much in interviews.

All I can hope now is that Cav's fans will put their pride away and welcome him back.  I can understand being burned before, but this guy took the Cavs to deep runs into the playoffs and runner up in the NBA finals.

That means Bosh will probably sign with the Rockets, and Wade will go to ... Chicago? Riley will retire, probably.

I would need Dan Gilbert to publicly apologize first. I didnt like the way he handled that situation at all. LeBron was a 20 something when all that went down. What was gilbert's excuse? I can pretty much guarantee there will be no "letter" written by Pat Riley or M. Arison (SP)? Arison Via Twitter “I am shocked & disappointed in today's news,” Heat owner Micky Arison said on Twitter. “However I will never forget what LeBron brought us for 4 years. Thanks for memories @KingJames.”

Nope, all Dan has to do is apologize and work things out with Lebron. He doesn't need to do anything publicly. Which by the sounds of it he has, from reading the article. Him and Lebron sat down and worked things out.

Quoting myself here, but don't underestimate the secondary impact this will have. Bosh is an absolutely perfect fit in Houston. He's a natural PF who never wanted to play C, and he's like a lankier Chandler Parsons who can rebound. He's a terrific fit next to Howard, IMO.

Lebron said he left to win some championship rings, it wasn't personal.  He's won the rings and now he wants to come home.  I never cared for the way he handled leaving for Miami, but I understood his reasons for leaving just as I now understand his reasons for wanting to go back.  He was never really an option for the Knicks so of all places he could have landed I'm glad he went home.

Also, no one's having a worse day today than Shabazz Napier.

Cleveland should trade Wiggins to Miami for Shabazz!

Wade is past his prime and Bosh can't carry the team so I see Bosh leaving for a team where he can contribute but isn't in the spotlight, like Houston.  Riley had a good run, now he's going to have to rebuild unless he can get Melo and Bosh to sign.

Right, Bosh said a few days ago that if LeBron signed elsewhere, he's take the 4 years, $96 million that Houston offered him. And Wade's past his prime but with how weak the SG position is across the league, he'll still make an impact somewhere.

It's smart for Bosh to leave.  Bosh doesn't gain anything staying in Miami, especially if Miami doesn't make the playoffs or finals.  The media to trash Bosh and talk about how Lebron was the whole team.

Wade might have a few decent years left, having Bosh and Lebron extended his career a bit, but he's not reason enough for Bosh to stick around.

Yeah Bosh will go to Hou and Wade's corpse will be pushed and pulled around the Mia courts like Weekend at Bernie's for the next 2-4 years.

Not sure about this. I heard Wade opted out of a 2-yr, $41MM contract w Miami. Think he's kicking himself but if he stays in Mia, it will be for significantly less than that. Guessing someone else will make a better offer than MIA but could be wrong.

Yeah that's correct, he left a lot of dough on the table. Obviously he thought Lebron was coming back lol. I agree that another team could offer him as much, or more than MIA. He's always implied he'd never leave MIA, but who knows. Depends on who MIA can get to play there...if no mid-level stars want to sign, then they will sort of be forced to overpay Wade. Maybe not 20mm/yr, but you know. Should be interesting.

    • I agree with @klineka & @DaveP043 above.  When a new member first joins the club they cold be told that they are not eligible for tournaments until they have an established HCP.  As you said, it only takes a few rounds.  If they do not to post HCP that was their choice and choices have consequences.  If playing in the tournament is important to them then they should step up and establish an HCP.  Maybe they miss the 1st tournament, is that a real big deal?  And if it is a "Big Deal" to them then they had the opportunity to establish the HCP. As for not knowing how to report for HCP I assume your club has a pro and they should be able to assist in getting the scores reported and I suspect out of state courses may also have staff that can assist if asked.

    • Cool here's my tweak, "If a player’s ball lies in the general area and there is interference from exposed tree roots or exposed rocks that are in the fairway or 1 club length from the fairway the tree roots and exposed rocks are treated as ground under repair. The player may take free relief under Rule 16.1b.[But relief is not allowed if the tree roots only interfere with the player’s stance.]
    • I would never do the extended warranty on the $50 slow cooker.  I also routinely reject the extended service plans on those toys we buy for the grand-kids.  I do consider them on higher cost items and will be more likely to get one if the product has a lot of "Electronic Tech" that is often the problem longer-term.  I also consider my intended length of ownership & usage.  If my thought is it would get replaced in 2-3 years then why bother but if I hope to use it for 10 years then more likely to get the extension. I did buy out a lease about a year ago.  Just prior to the lease end date the tablet locked up and would not function.  I got it repaired under the initial warranty and would not have bought it out if they had not been able to fix it since IMO once electronic issues start in a car they can be hard to track down & fix.  They did fix it but when I bought out the lease I paid up for the extended warranty the would cover electronic failures because my intent is to keep that car for another 8-10 years and I just do not trust the electronics to last.  Last week the touch screen went black and was unresponsive.  It reset on the 2nd time I restarted the car but that is exactly how the last malfunction started.  I fully expect to have a claim on that on repair under the extended warranty.  I do not recall the exact cost to fix last time since I did not pay it but I think it was @ $700-$800 and I suspect that will be higher next time.
    • Have you looked at Model Local Rule F-9 Relief from Tree Roots in or Close to Fairway?  You could extend this to cover exposed rocks.  The rule is recommended to be used only for areas relatively near the fairway, a player who hits a shot 20 yards in the woods doesn't really deserve relief.   Players can always take Unplayable Ball relief, they're not required to play it from a rock or a root.  Of course, they hate to take the penalty stroke too.
