That's funny because I watched this whole thing live and noticed her immediately.  But I'm apparently an oblivious idiot because it never dawned on me that she was trying to get noticed by Rory.  I even thought that she must be Sergio's girlfriend (or wife, whichever he has)

Believe it or not, both of them predate the internet ;)

some golf clubs

a few golf balls

a bag of tee's some already broken the rest soon to be

a snickers wrapper (if you have seen me play, you would know you are not going anywhere for a while)

and an empty bottle of water

Same here. She stood out from the typical golf crowd and looked like she wanted some attention.

I didn't know about the social media storm that ensued. All the stuff following the video in the link. A woman primps and preen for attention for 10 seconds and it's a thing, broken down to it's very teenie morsels in every detail. I thought people would just think, she's flirty with him, ha ha, that's it. Twitter, HD and fast internet, potent mix.

I noticed her immediately also, I was she's better looking than the normal golf fan and look she's trying to get his attention. I actually said that out loud to my family at the time.

I saw this too, and was wondering if I was just imagining it. It almost seemed like the camera crew was trying to focus on her. I didn't know CBS was also behind match.com for golfers.

This was awesome...I noticed her fix her hair up all "perfect" and just blatantly stare at him, but he never looked lol. I wondered if that dude behind her was "with" her and was getting annoyed...cuz he was kinda doing that confused-constipated-jealous-fake-smile thing.

Rory can do better than that and I think he knows it too. I give her a strong 8. I initially gave her a 7 but I watched it again and stood corrected. To a guy with a job she's smoking hot, but to a guy like Rory she's ok at best I would think.

      Slight digression on the way to my point. Back in the day there were a lot of people who said that Tiger won because of “the Tiger effect” where people pushed too hard and made mistakes trying to catch him and fell by the wayside. I thought that was BS. It was just that he was that much better than them. I don’t think anything has changed my mind on that.    The hype about Miles Russell is very limited. I’ve seen nothing about him outside of some fairly hardcore golf websites. But I think that the reason those people are talking about him is because he is very good. Same as Tiger. And like I said he just broke one of Tiger’s records. That gets hardcore golf fans to pay attention.
