TST SoCal 2014 Fall Outing December 7th Empire Lakes

Ok so let's go with Empire Lakes on 12/7.

I will be there! Empire Lakes was the site of the first time I attended a professional tournament -- 2007 then-Nationwide-Tour Event. I played it once after that, too, with a friend-of-a-friend who the summer before had taken me to play my first non-muni course. Regardless. I'll be there. No telling how I'll compare to my handicap, but I'll be there.

My daughter has two interviews/open houses at the two high schools she likes on that weekend. One each day. I don't think I can make either day, especially Sunday. Sorry guys.

Of course, if we could make it after December 20th, my son could go too. He has finals the week before.

Does Empire Lakes allow 5-somes? If not, we need a few more to make this outing work. I haven't seen @Pakoh in awhile, but I did talk to his buddy Jason last week and he is available to play that day. That would make 6...

It doesn't look good for me.  Seems like my recovery is a bit slow and I'm still not able to put a lot of weight on my knee yet.  I think I'll probably have to sit this one out.

All I can say is my wife and daughter arranged the interviews on the "open days", and that my golf takes a back burner. Well, I guess I can't complain since I am playing pretty much daily anyway.

Thanks for the shout out.  I'm booked up that weekend.  Next year I'll be retired by the fall and can plan ahead.  Oh yeah, and I'm planning on my HI going down by about 4 strokes or so.  That way you all won't have to give me more than 1 stroke per hole.

Hey all. I'm still available dec 7th, but I'll throw it out there. We have 5 guys right now. If we are not able to get another confirmed 4some, I will volunteer to bow out. I'm also playing on December 6th, so I'm pushing my luck already, as other new fathers can attest.
