Yah, I don't know your game but it seems like you're hitting really short with the driver.

That I am, I'm trying to learn to hit up with the driver and I was doing it on the course. Most my drives were push slices, but the trajectory looked a lot better then it usually does. My goal this year is to increase my driving distance to 240, which doesn't seem like a lot for most but when you only are averaging 200 off the tee with driver.

Just a horrible round. 4 water balls, 1 ball OB. On the front nine I had 4 duffed short game shots and 1 thinned inside 100 yard wedge shot.

It's a crazy course.

No, Game Golf has those holes labeled incorrectly.

Write to them so they can correct it.

Saturday - played with a couple of buddies: http://www.gamegolf.com/player/RFKFREAK/round/300746

Sunday - went by myself and got paired with a nice guy: http://www.gamegolf.com/player/RFKFREAK/round/304469

Driver cooperated more on Sunday but short game was a huge letdown on the front 9 causing a really bad score, even on my scale.  Need to recalibrate my distances with my irons.

Weekend rounds. Sat was split because I rebooted thinking I'd play the front twice but there were zombies out there in sight so I bee lined for the back and got out in front of the horribly slow 3some that stopped by the house for beer or whatever. Not too bad 41-39-40.

Intended to play 18 yesterday but severe weather got us off the course. I blew the last two holes up trying to get us in before the storm hit. The groups ahead did nothing to play quickly with lighting and rain getting close and we had two groups of speedsters trying to get in before the storm behind us on 8 tee. One a-hole stood on the 8th green taking videos of the incoming sheets of rain we could just see miles away while we waited in the fairway. Because of that I punched one left so the groups behind could get off the tee while they were still fussing around on the green diagonally across the fairway thinking I'd pitch on and try to save par.

I was striking the ball well and likely would have hit GIR so this was a bummer. My ball went a couple yards further than I intended hit the path and stopped under a tree. Rinse and repeat on 9 a reachable par 5 for me that the afore mentioned slow pokes dallied on. I punched my drive behind the a-holes in front because we had 7 carts waiting on 9 tee and bounced into the hazard on the second shot trying to advance it as far as I could towards the closest point to the green. Totally sucked because I am usually chipping or putting for eagle on this hole. Just wanted to get my Mom off the course. But playing the last 2 +3 was a real drag. Was a good thing I did what I did the rain started pounding as soon as I got the cart to the cars to unload.

Played down in Florida last week and made a hash of things for the most part:

First day was a real horror show. Lake Buena Vista (Disney course). Four balls in the water, two OB, hit only 6 greens, 41 putts (Yikes) for a 99: http://www.gamegolf.com/player/frosty/round/309718

Second day, Magnolia (Disney again), moved up a few sets of tees, kept the driver in the bag, hit 9 greens, only 32 putts, shot 81: http://www.gamegolf.com/player/frosty/round/309719

Third day was a washout.

Fourth day, Harmony Golf Preserve (St. Cloud). Another mixed bag, hit 7 greens, only 2 penalty strokes, shot 89: http://www.gamegolf.com/player/frosty/round/309721

Biggest challenge the whole trip was keeping the tee ball in play. Lots of push slicing but I got that under control (somewhat) by the end. Putting was all over the place and my bunker play left something to be desired...

Had the hooks on the first hole. Then on hole 11 I decided to forget my SV3 game strategy and hit the ball into the creek. I was trying to easy a driver and I didn't easy it enough. Next time it might be 3-wood.

My putting deserted me. I don't think I am taking amount of effort lining up. I am shoving putts right.

Hole 15 could have been a tin cup moment. Jacked my drive down the middle. Had 220 yards in. 4 iron would clear the water, would get past the bunker on the right, would be perfect if I hit it at the pin which was right side of the green, not bringing the water into play at all. I go and hit a trap hook into the water left. So I drop the ball where I hit it, taking that option as a the drop and then stuck the 4 iron to 6 feet. #I_Knew_I_Could_Do_It_You_Stupid_Game. Then I missed the putt for par. #failure

Again my game is getting off the tee well then failing to hit a solid iron. Luckily my partial wedges were not to bad. I decided to just trust it and turn through the shot and keep my weight forward. No thin and no fats. Distance control was slightly off, but I was actually getting the ball on the green. :)

Could have scored a lot better. This one got away from me on the last three holes but it was raining hard and it was cold. I wouldn't have been out there but it was league play.  I started at 5:11 and didn't get out of there until 7:40. Long time for 9 holes in crummy weather.

72 at the Hill course at CHQ.

First time playing the course. Some BIG elevation changes. Started hitting the driver poorly at the end.

Just got the app. A bit of a learning curve but I like it and will probably buy the unit. Shot a 41 (+9) on the executive course. Thought I had shot a 40 but in reviewing the round I see that I forgot to tag a tee shot.

Yours in earnest, Jason.

I think you will like the unit. It's a quick tag then you don't think about it until you're editing your round. I usually double tag or miss a tag once a round. I have a decent enough memory to correct it a few hours later. I also usually take a picture of the scorecard after the round so I have that as a reference.

I got done with work early so I snuck out and played 18 before the wife gets hone from work. http://www.gamegolf.com/player/Jakester23/round/314761 .  I hit my irons a lot better than any previous round this season.  What was odd was I hit a few irons quite long a club or more.  It cost me at least 3-5 shots but thats better than how my irons have been have been recently.
