@mvmac, Great round.  With the course rating of Torrey South that was pretty much an even par round and you were in heavy wind.  I'm not sure when you started but certainly the wind was a lot heavier than the 13mph that GameGolf reported.  Early this morning the news was reporting wind of about 20 mph and gusts up to 45 mph near the ocean.  And, you were certainly near the ocean.

Thanks, yeah my phone said it was 25 and it felt like it stayed that way until about the 14th hole.

34 on the front nine at Whispering Woods, but I played from the white tees since it's just wet, they're not really mowing, and I played with the kiddo.

Weird wind today, too. Some shots that I hit well didn't go anywhere into the wind, and others carried pretty far.

1 - 3W up the right side, wind pushed it a bit. Slipped on the second but found the green and two-putted.

2. Just a hair thin. Hit by the hole and pulled back. Bumpy, slow greens, so a two-putt.

3. Good drive. Ball plugged and sucked back a foot. 3I I hit really well and which hit the green and rolled to a stop 12 feet behind the cup. I wanted an eagle, but settled for a two-putt birdie.

4. Half a groove heavy off the tee, played safe with the second. Two putts. First one looked good for a long time.

5. Good 3W, not a horrible pitch. Gave away a partial shot there, though.

6. Not a good 7I. Bladed through the bunker right. Pitch fat off a muddy lie. Par putt lipped out.

7. Drive right and up into the wind. Really solid hybrid from there. Almost holed out the wedge from a severe sidehill lie. Tap in birdie.

8. Good drive into the wind. Wedge to the fat of the green. Putt fell in.

9. 3W pulled a tad left. Thin 9I to the middle of the green, right side. Almost holed that putt, too, but had a three-inch tap-in for what is probably my last hole in 2015.

This is my round from the GCAMTour this past Sunday.  I had 2 true blow-up holes, and several missteps.

The hole/shot that sticks out the most for me is Hole #8, 4th shot with my SW.  My 3rd shot was sitting in some thicker rough and my 9 iron went towards the hazard.  It just barely went in and was about 1/4 submerged.  I decided to play it and it ended up about 25' from the hole.  I was pretty proud that I was able to pull it off, I had a whole bunch of bad scenarios running through my head!  Of course, I was immediately humbled by 3-putting! :~(

This was a round played yesterday on the recently reopened Copperhead course, home of the Valspar Championship.  It was closed from late June to Thanksgiving to renovate for the upcoming tournament.  It was in fantastic shape, but the fairways and greens were super slow.  They said they are letting them grow a bit to make sure the grass holds.  They are requiring cartpath only until after the tournament, just to make sure it is pristine.  I shot pretty well, on the back 9, about my average on the front.  I can't wait to play it again in April when my brother comes down!

Went out to play 18 yesterday. I got 13 holes in before I hit a backlog on the course. I got near the tee box and it was backed up two groups, with one of the groups leaving. It was windy and chilly, and I was not going to wait 10 minutes. The back nine has been going at a slow pace. I finished the front nine in 1 hour and 45 minutes and I was already 1 hour and 20 minutes in on the back nine to this point. So I turned around and called it a day.

Overall I thought I played well. A couple of errant tee shots, but my irons were solid. I had back to back tap in birdies on holes 4 and 5 :)

I hadn't played in months but I couldn't let a 65* day in December go to waste.

Not good, but considering I haven't played since September, I was mostly pleased.

My first round with GG, glad it was a decent day.

http://www.gamegolf.com/player/ClubRat/round/686150?hole_id=21247124

The front side was magical, other than topping my hybrid into the creek, able to save the bogey and a chance for even par on the front.

Back nine, started the bogey train and couldn't make easy putts.

Highlight of the day was my approach on 16, almost kissed the flagstick, made the birdie putt, won a skin!

My first GG tagged round. Am using the GG app. The edit took me about 30 mins via a bunch of mess ups but finally cleaned up including the score. I think driver wildness costing at least 4-5 shots. If not for decent irons, I would be outta bidniss.

You edited on your computer, right?

That's a loooooong time. I usually take about four or five minutes to edit my round… if that.

Well, every time I tried to add a shot (I needed to add three) a message would come up saying 'There was a problem in performing this action', so I would keep trying and then when I went to scorecard, it had apparently added ever attempt I made. For eg. I needed to add a putt to number 9 and ended up adding 4 putts. Any way I had to log out and in to get to where I could re-edit. And then 17th showed I hit a 476 yard drive after the initial edit. No idea what I effed up. Honestly you are prolly right though; next time it should take me 10 mins tops.

Also, first time tagging, so bit outta sorts. But hey, alls well that ends well and just happy that am off the ground! 2016, watch out, here I come..!

Last round of 2015, golfed with three buddies who obviously are crazier than me to be out playing. Temp 33* - only players on course.

Came close to being a remarkable day on the fourth hole, almost had an Ace. Told my buddies, it would had been a great day to by drinks !!!

9 hole round with wife yesterday. Again, soggy ground but gorgeous 50 degree sunny day. She brought a left over wine bottle from night before. Hit some good shots with driver. Changed her goal from trying to hit a distance to just making contact mid way through. She started getting the ball some air once she did that.

Anyway, continue struggling with the driver. Just can't seem to figure a proper swing path. Irons are great.

Oh, BTW tagging was a lot better and editing was quicker as expected this time around. I like the insights on GG. Not sure what to make of the putting advise.
