I'll get this started........... if you stop at the turn for a sit-down meal, I formally accuse YOU as being a non-golfer!!  I am sure we can come up with 100s of things................LOL

Who's next with an example??

You are making a real ass of yourself lately. You are a non-golfer if you can not treat fellow golfers with the respect due to them, regardless of their score or the CR of the course on which they sh

Not me! A golf ball with a demonstrated affinity for the water has a horrible character flaw that cannot be changed.  It should never be trusted again!

I made a 12 on a par-3 once......with NO PENALTY STROKES!

There are cultures where stopping for a full lunch at the turn is de rigeur.

Ya - there've been posts specifically about stopping for lunch at the turn . .that's one of my big pet peeves.  If you make me stop for lunch at the turn and we lose our place on the 10th tee . .WE ARE NO LONGER FRIENDS!

I used to play with this one guy . .so lame . .he would show up all dressed up in fancy golf clothes, spend forever stretching, insist on hitting the range, played super slow, always had to take a cart because "his back", wanted to stop at the turn for lunch. .actually insisted he needed to eat something substantial "or he would pass out". What a nancy, lol.    I'd like to see somebody pass out from not eating for 2 freaking hours, lol.  It's not like he was any good, either.

But you already listed stopping at the turn . .so I'll add . .if you have one of those ball-retrieving things . .you are NOT a golfer!

edit:

Dang!  BuckeyeNut beat me to it.

That doesn't make it right! . . . . If you catch up on your golf buddy's family life during the round, you're not a golfer ....

If you park a golf cart just off the fringe of the green......................I am accusing you of being a non-golfer!!

Driving the cart into any areas where you know you shouldn't is a no-no!!   If by chance you don't know cart rules.........you are a non-golfer!!!

Is that @Jeremie Boop ??? :-P

You're not a golfer if you regularly use a foot or hand wedge.

I am calling you out as a non-golfer if the 15th club in your bag is one of these.............. No real golfer carries one of these...LOL

Oh no you didnt..i have had that exact on since 1990. You are not a real golfer if you dont take out the flag when your ball is the closest to the pin when everbody is up.

If you play those illegal golf balls that "supposedly" go further...................  I am calling you out as a "Non_Golfer"!!   And this is for numerous reasons!!!   Those balls are COMPLETE ROCKS that sukk azz......you'd have to be complete a non-golfer to even consider playing one of those horrible excuses for a golf ball!

... you cancel or postpone your tee time if there's a 50% chance of rain or less.

... you pack up your clubs for the year on Labor Day

... you won't play if it's below 50°F

... you pack up your clubs when the leaves start to line the fairways

... you take more than 3 practice swings (I play with a guy that literally takes 8-10 full practice swings in rapid succession before every fairway shot)

... you let your woods/hybrids/driver clank and bang around while bouncing down the fairway in the golf cart, sounding like someone's dragging a Christmas tree behind the cart (rather than using your headcovers !!!!)

... you don't know who Michael Breed, David Feherty, Lauren Thompson, or Martin Hall are ...

What on earth, in ur mind,  is wrong with a ball retriever?  Man, i can collect a dozen beauties from the pond, if i have time.  Usually the Marshall is pushing too hard to keep moving to permit  me to go fishing.

Well, i totally DISAGREE with U.

And i always carry a big UMBRELLA. That 'wrong' too?

    • Day 244: spent two hours at the range doing full swing and short game work. Worked on my two pieces with drills using driver and 6 iron. Then went through the bag focusing on long, high, slow backswing. Moved on to longer chips and pitches using various clubs, PW to 58 and varied lies, up and down hill, tight and fluffy. Then did and shots and finished with flop shots over the bunker to a pin only 4 paces on. It was really humid and I sweat buckets. Had to wear my rain gloves most of the time.
    • I will say I was wrong earlier in the thread. I thought it was an intentional act of rudeness, but now I see it’s entirely a tv sitcom now. BD and BK are clearly now egging the fans on.
    • Eww. Don’t look good to me. I’ll pass.
    • Hey, wait just a minute ... careful of unintended consequences: Maybe they just need to call these irons the Terminator series. (Gotta be an "I'll be back" reference to golf clubs somehow, but it's not coming to me.)
    • For their price it better be a wet one…😂
