I rarely recommend other podcasts, but this one seems like it might have potential.

(That's an iTunes URL...).

Anyway, I've only just started watching the first one - "The Driver - How to Hit it Long." At just about 0:50 into the show, he hits a driver and you can see the ballflight... a nice, big slice! I'm sure he'd call it a power fade, but boy that thing turns.

And he does it with a 907D1, too (the triangular, high-MOI one)!

Anyway, I'll add a note here in a bit after I watch a few more episodes.

OK, so here are my thoughts.

Each episode is about 3 minutes long. The actual instruction in each session is about 30 seconds... then they just repeat each of the pieces over and over.

The guy's catch phrase is annoyingly "that's what I'm talkin' about!"

The camera angles are obviously played with. For example, in one, he hits out of the sand, then we see a close-up of the ball rolling close to the hole. It's obvious the ball wouldn't go there from his previous shot, so it just makes the whole thing seem a bit... tacky? I dunno.

Anyway, these aren't exactly earth-shattering tips, but then again, little in golf is. They are pretty to look at and will do a good job teaching beginners and intermediate players things about golf, or at least reminding them of good things.

I'm subscribed to it. It looks polished but, like you say, there isn't much in each podcast and some of it is rather obvious. I'll still watch them but I'll be picking and choosing very carefully.
