I don't understand the appeal of salt and vinegar chips in the slightest.

Same here. I don't think I've ever bought a bag of those. I like Hawkins' cheezies, too. And Hickory Sticks.

Doritos, either nacho cheese or cool ranch. I also really like Cheetos.

Hawkin's cheezies put all other cheezies to shame!

I'm a potato chip traditionalist.  I think my favorites are the Kettle Brand Sea Salt and Pepper crinkle-cut chips.  Of course, the ones i slice on my mandolin, soak in ice water to remove some starch, and double fry in the deep fryer are the best, but i do that about three times a decade.

Old fashion Frito's ....

Just tried the new hot and spicy Frito's...Yep, they are a bit hot & spicy. They do have one drawback..the red chili stuff they sprinkle on them, turns your fingers RED!!!, only soap and water will remove it..I prefer the originals anyways..

Nacho Doritos or Cheddar and Sour Cream Ruffles.

I missed this the first time, but those are the only flavored chips that I really like. Even the baked version is pretty good.

Mission brand Tortilla chips! Rectangular or triangular.

I also like the "restaurant style" chips (preferred to be freshly made at the restaurant) with a lighter picante and pico de gallo. If the salsa is made with habaneros, I would prefer the rectangular type.

Of course chips without dips or salsa is not as good. A peach and Habanero sauce that has just enough kick to sizzle the beer is exactly the right thing for the Tortilla chips. Corn Salsa is also nice to go on a tortilla "salad".

Lays plain potato chips with a nice sour cream and home made onion/mushroom dip is pretty good too!

Then there are the hundreds of Asian ethnic chips, that I like to eat. . .Yum. . .
