    • Only when they want to. They earned the right to stop when they feel like it. It is tradition

Oh please, I bet you didn't even see 3 shots by Doug Ford that year.  So I call BS to your talk about having to watch him struggle.

They don't show the old guys for more than maybe a shot or two.  So it actually makes no difference to the viewing experience.  All you really experience of those guys is seeing their names and scores on paper or a screen.  It has nothing to do with having to watch them play badly.

IF YOU'RE A PATRON  IN THE GALLERY YOU WITNESS ATROCIOUS GOLF FROM ONCE GREAT GOLFERS  - call BS all you want - I was there.

If people always did the right thing #1 is the best answer.  Unfortunately some don't know when it's time to hang it up and that's why I voted #3. I think AGNC would give the older golfers the

There are other ways to connect - let them go out with players on practice rounds. Play the par 3s. Walk the range and talk to the players.   I think a round of golf in competition, most players stick to themselves and their caddies.  My experience watching Doug Ford struggle up the fairway in his final rounds and shooting mid-high 80s did it for me.  I will remember him as an old golfer who called it quits too late.  I saw Arnie playing some really bad golf the same way at Augusta National- hitting balls into bushes, lost ball, replaying shot. Not exactly how I want to remember his legacy.

      Yea Club Rat said it. I really enjoyed the Senator and the Judge, then over to Grand National where there a couple good courses plus a fun par 3. The one I do play whenever I visit there is Ross Bridge; something about this course that is just good fun. I hope to play more of the courses in the future, but tomorrow is promised to no one, so hope is the key word. Have Fun, iSank

      Eh. He broke ONE of Tiger's records. Youngest to be ranked #1 in AJGA. It didn't help that Tiger's birthday is in late December, or that Tiger didn't play many AJGA events before he was 15. Did he do any of these things?       Day 56: 4/19/2024 Okay, even though I'll be teeing it up in a tournament in less than a week. I couldn't find time to get to the range today.  I spent time on the indoor putting mat.  And I spent time in front of the mirror with my 7 iron. Then again later with the driver.  I also thoroughly cleaned all my clubs.
