Sure feels like the tour as a whole is playing much better. Yes, we have the occassional WD and guys start playing bad +5 day one and could care less day 2. Overall - it sure feels like many are going low and the amount of guys under par and competing is awesome...  Usually we have the crowd in the E - +3 range were now it is -1 - -3... 2 weeks ago too. GUys are all raising their games and you have to be extra special to win or even get a top 10

No yips on that chip in for Tiger on 17. He's under par for the round! Didn't someone say earlier the wheels were coming off?

I didn't say the wheels are coming off, but I did say to expect a rusty performance this week. And from the looks of today, that's exactly what it is so far.

Eavesdropping on conversation between Ryan Palmer and G-Mac early this a.m......they were talking about the newest sensation Jordan Spieth....Palmer compared him to Fowler's hype over the last couple of years.  Didn't sound like Palmer believed Spieth "was the real thing" but kind of manufactured.  G-Mac seemed to agree and said he wasn't "into all that stuff".....to me, sounded like jealously on Palmer's part.  Kind of surprised to hear the conversation three holes into play......you'd think the would have other things on their mind.

Thats odd because Spieth at least has a Major to Rickie's goose egg. Spieth is definitely the real deal. He ain't goin away. I do still have a small glimmer of faith in Rickie however.

I almost sounded like G-mac was saying he was happy to have someone get all the focus  - that he was happy with being in the shadows.  There's a lot of responsibility and pressure that goes with being the next great one . I'm sure many on tour are content not having to deal with all the demands - as long as they get their share w/ a win now and than.

Not sure what's so hilarious about it. I thought he was pretty spot on. He wasn't ridiculing Tiger. He was just pointing out that he's not as straight on his drives as he is his irons. I tend to agree with him. He's still not where he needs to be with his driver. Really needs to focus on getting that part of his game straightened out. That drive on 18 was bad and cost him a good round.

      Day 35 (26 Feb 25) - Day of easy work (hanging around the house as son had shoulder surgery and I needed to help keep an eye on him).  Worked on low spinner 50deg wedges - keeping the ball low flighted and checking quick.  Went with the 8i after to do low flighted runners.  Great visit on two ways to get the same/similar results.  May be able to get away tomorrow for a short 9hole round (as long as the son's recovery cooperates).....

      Day 1: 2/26/2025: So, I'm starting over on this again.  My son brought home the mother of all flu bugs from school. It raged though our house and knocked me on my butt for about 3 days.  Now, that I think I'm clear of the death plague my son gave me. I was able to rise early this morning and get some nice mirror work in. I felt stiff like a board for the first few swings, but loosened up and was able to get at least 20 minutes of first robotic slow swings and then gradually more fluid swings.  My focus was on the timing and fluidity of my priority pieces.

      Working on some swing videos. What are you guys having the best luck with as far as devices used to record the swing?  I have a tripod with a magnet that I stick my phone on but it is somewhat of a pain because I have to remove the cover on my phone and when I pull it off the magnet the tripod head changes and moves position. I was thinking something more like an ipad maybe. On a different style tripod and maybe even set it up to mirror to a tv.
