-10 back nine...wow!!! If somebody who we never heard of scored -16, surely in the next 50 years, a top pro on a easy course can shoot -18?

Yes, but there's a world of difference between an easy course and an easy (by PGA Tour standards) course. At the end of the 2007 season, when Tiger was really dominant, his handicap was estimated at somewhere like +8.5. How many shots under his handicap would a 54 be at a relatively easy course? Playing the forward-most tees at my home course is 66.7/114 -- and I'm certain easier regulation courses exist (it's also a par 71). The par-5s on that course (from those tees) are 445, 461, and 440, without any need to lay-up off the tee. We could then use Dean Knuth's tables to determine the odds of "late 2007 Tiger" shooting a 54...

I think is Lowest Score Wins, the drive for show putt for dough was shown to not be true.

I'm with David this will never happen, unless you're in a scramble with mulligans and string.

our scramble team shot 48 two weeks ago with those in play. 2nd place shot 49. ridiculous.

Gibson knocked in 12 birdies and two eagles on the 6,698-yard par-71 course on May 12, the report said.

Still don't think anyone will hit 18 under

Enough string, and I'll shoot 18 myself.
