Justin is a wannabee Yank too. He's lived here for a long time! So have many, many UK players!

I'm sure Rosie and Ricky can dish it back to Sir Nick.

Yeah, he loved the US so much that he sold up and moved to the Bahamas, presumably for even less taxes.

So I wonder if Watson and Faldo got to pick one of their partners. Watson has always said Snedeker is like a younger version of him and we always hear Faldo praise Rosie.

You can bet Rickie hasn't had the choice. Tiger at Chambers Bay and Faldo here.

Poor Oosthuizen has gotten stuck with Tiger twice. Last two rounds with him though he's kicked his ass up one side and down the other.

“I’m so far back and the leaderboard is so bunched that in order for me to get in there by Sunday, I’m going to have to have the conditions tough and then obviously put together some really solid rounds,” Woods said. How about you worry about making the cut first and then you can look ahead to how you can get in there on Sunday.. I read you will be out there with 30-40 mph wind, good luck!

I see he's putting the cart before the horse.

I doubt he will make the cut.

Gotta love 'Zinger.... http://golfweek.com/news/2015/jul/16/tiger-woods-azinger-hack-british-open-golf-2015-st/ On a day where a score of golfers went low amid benign conditions at St. Andrews during the opening round of the 2015 British Open, Tiger Woods once again found himself looking for answers after a 4-over 76. Paul Azinger, who is working as an analyst for ESPN during its telecast of the year's third major, did not go easy on the 14-time major-winner when describing the state of his game. “It’s hard to watch the greatest player of this generation be a middle-of-the-pack hack,” said Azinger. “You almost want to say: ‘Who are you and what have you done to Tiger Woods?’" Azinger also commented on Woods' efforts to work on his swing. “Everyone wanted to swing like Tiger, except Tiger. ... Nobody needs to tell Tiger what to think. Somebody needs to remind him how to think. I think he’d be better off with a good conversation than another lesson.” Azinger, a 12-time winner on the PGA Tour and major champion in his own right, has been critical of Woods in the past. After Woods shot an 82 at the Waste Management Phoenix Open in January, Azinger said Woods looked "confused." Woods finds himself near the bottom of the leaderboard and in danger of missing his second straight cut in a major championship after exiting early at the U.S. Open at Chambers Bay.

The Open is great for getting clips of flighted irons.

Here's a playlist:

Looks like Graham DeLaet's lost bag didn't affect him much. Good for him.

Dustin Johnson, Jason Day, Kevin Na, and Luke Donald the only golfers to post bogey free rounds. Bunch of golfers with only one bogey, The Road Hole really got to people today.

He shot a +4 in ideal conditions, surely he can beat the field and jump up the leaderboard in a gale.

Azinger is spot on. Tiger deserves every bit of criticism thrown his way.

It's dead on, I agree, but it's not really even criticism, just an observation.  I doubt anybody out there, even the most diehard Tiger fans - hell ESPECIALLY the most diehard Tiger fans - would disagree with him.

PS - I also agree with you regarding SVP's comments that you posted in the other thread.

I saw that the scoring average of the Road Hole was 4.8 today. The entire tournament might come down to who manages to par that hole with the pressure on.

Keep an eye on Branden Grace if the wind gets up. Hits it super low and pretty far, averaged 315 today. One bogey, guess which hole?

I woke up at 5:30 today, saw Tiger hit one shot - a 140 yard approach from the fairway to an accessible pin - and end up with a 55 footer for birdie. His divot was about the size of a Nerf football. What's going on???????? He's tied with Tom Watson.
