I felt sorry for the Dunne amateur guy, his first two holes on the last round clearly showed he must have spent the night freaking out about his (beautiful) previous round!

As for ZJ, he did really well, but Jordan's win would have been "glitzier" if that makes sense. I was disappointed for Leishman as his 3rd round was absolutely awesome, he was on fire! shame he ran out of fuel when it really mattered!

I can understand the boring aspect of ZJ, and of course the fact he looks like any boxer from the 1920's, but I do like the guy. One thing to note is I appreciate that after all the fuss about big hitters and equipment/ball technology making some features of courses "obsolete" it was one of the shorter hitters who came through with the W.

So yeah, for some reason ZJ doesn't do it for me.    And it's all about me.

I don't go for the comparison... Leonard seems like a sourpuss with a horrid temper.

ZJ shows fire on the course in a positive way. He is a bit bland off the course, but it's about the golf...

Like, dislike, boring or not. We all have our favorites/heroes and that's fine as it is. What matters is that probably everybody here was glued to the TV, watching in exitement. How cool is that?

One week you play well (Fowler, Jacquelin, also Luijten), but the next week you are gone. That's what fascinate me about this game of golf.

Might be off  topic, but what makes you a HOF? What are the criteria? I believe I read something about Mark o Maera, that he was a bit late of being inducted?

Well, I've got to admit, after Spieth missed the putt on 18th, that blew the wind out of my sails. I was not as interested in the playoff.

Yeah was rooting for Spieth all the way. Amazing how he rebounded from double bogey to go birdie, birdie mid round.

JDay won't win a British unless he gets an extremely benign week. He cannot flight the ball. I do think his immense talent will overcome this deficiency and he'll win one going away, probably a Masters.

He missed winning outright by 2 strokes. A lip-out here or there and he could have won easily. Any of the guys at the top of the leaderboard can win an Open.

Rightfully so. Tiger is so much better than anyone else. If he doesn't win a tournament, the others shouldn't get any credit, as it is always because Tiger made a mistake or 100.

How about those 37 putts on during the 2nd round.

You can't claim that once instance lost it for him. If he had his normal 29 putt average (rounds 1,3,4) in round 2 he would have shot -22 and won by 7 strokes.
