Very enjoyable, since I have been able to hit the ball longer and add some draw. I had a nice round today with a lot less mishits. Increase in the number of GIR and nGIR, but still need to work on putting, but even that is improving, so I am encouraged with the progress.

Best round ever, most birdies ever, and one drive hooked into a hazard away from breaking par. (Oh, and perhaps not coincidentally, it was on my birthday)

Don't feel bad it happens to the best of us. Golf does become boring once you have mastered it and there is no room for improvement. I'm going to return to the Adult film industry.

Had a good day driving the ball with some of my longest drives of the year, but since I couldn't make any putts today I ended up with a 46 for 9 holes

Just played this afternoon. The sentence for today would be... The game is showing promise, but definitely room for improvement. I had some great drives and good iron shots... Making solid contact with hybrids.... Putting still needs work, but I'm encouraged on the progress.

On Novermber 27, the day after Thanksgiving, I shot a one over par score for 18 holes.  I bogies the third hole, after parring the first, and then made 15 consecutive pars ( I tried so hard to make a birdie, but my putts were all in the range of 20-25 feet---fall golf is tough here in Upstate NY!

Strong wind gusts when I played golf today, combined with my inaccurate short game made for a 44 for the 9 holes I played

I can do it in one word, "Tiring".

I walked many, many miles (on concrete in not so comfortable shoes) at Disney World on Saturday from 8am to 10pm.  Then I walked 18 holes on Sunday.  Front nine was fine.  I was crawling up the 17th hole on the back nine.

A great practice round... Played 27 holes and walked it all carrying my clubs. Good exercise and It s a beautiful day here in SW Ohio. Much better ball striking and I am glad to say that I didn't have very many mis-hits. Putting was actually doing much better too. I really hope that we keep getting this nice weather here.

    • Thank you.  I really should do the entire practice plan -- Erik went through all that trouble to make it, then about three days in we discovered something really bad about my grip, so I switched to practicing that.   But I'm definitely going to do this one.  It looks like I need a second alignment stick (I own one, and have a few pulled shafts I use other times), so I'll go pick one up (I hate to delay, but it's going to be tomorrow, not today).  That's going to be Monday's practice and for some time. Thank you; that makes a lot of sense.  I wonder if I hit them too quickly (in terms of attempts / minute) when I do the clock drills.
    • After reading about it I'm thinking that's what happened to mine.  It still has a "ting" sound, but not as loud.
    • I don't think I've ever seen Phil wearing white shoes. Looks weird.
    • Saturdays round had a few wild moments with Harman 4 putting and the Pin was a bit unfriendly to Sergio and Rory. I missed the shot that Rham hit which I heard the announcers say something about  hitting the Flag.   Sergio hits a great chip shot which one hopped hits the pin and came straight back 30 yards from where he hits the shot from.... 🤔 Rory nailed the pin on his approach on a par 5 and the ball jolted to the right about 60 ft...  Then there was the 4 putt for birdie from 5 feet....
    • No downside. Simply used for the sound/feel and a little for weight in some cases. There is no getting it out but you shouldn't have any need to. Most golfers prefer the sound after hotmelt.
