Horrific! Been trying some new things, but I'm an old dog and not liking these new tricks. I'm going back to my old stuff. Scored a lot better and enjoyed the game more!

When I set up for the ball to fade, it drew.

The course was being aerated, so I helped out with my iron play.

I hit a thin drive that found the fairway then a great wedge to 8 feet but 2 putt for par then drove the next one through the fairway but found it in the rocks and hit a good 9 iron but couldn't see where I was going so I lost it and conceded the hole then I hit the fairway on the next hole and just missed the green but got it up and down for par then I hit a great drive on a par five and hit a 2 hybrid over the green because I thought I was into the wind but it was in fact downwind but I got that up and down for birdie and then I hit a great 7 iron but it was too much club so I was over the green on the par three 5th and also missed the green with my chip so I chipped again about 15 feet past the whole but sunk the putt for a bogey and then I hit the fairway, green and two putt for par on the 6th and on the seventh I hooked one into the rocks and conceded and then on the 8th I hit another perfect 7 iron clear over the green to a tough spot and pitched it 12 feet by the hole and putt it about 24 feet because I thought it was uphill but it was actually downhill so three putt double bogied that one and then I swung very easy with my driver on a tight 9th into the wind and hit the fairway followed by a nice 8 iron to near the hole and a sunk birdie putt then the back nine was basically more of the same except a little bit worse.

A decent round ruined by two terrible holes on the back nine.

16 out of 18 decent holes is what I call a good percentage

Ha ha!  Yeah, but those two were not pleasant.  I'm a bogey golfer.  I was +13 for the other 16 holes.  But +8 for those two holes.  Ouch!  :-D
