What courses are on your British Isles Bucket List?

I just want to play any course in Ireland or Scotland. Don't care which one. Oh and their has to be sheep walking around on it.

In Ireland at Doonbeg (now known as Trump International Golf Links at Doonbeg), they have electric fences "to keep the Americans on the golf course and out of the dunes."

If my memory is correct, the construction of that course was delayed for years, and the routing was revised, in order to protect some kind of snail.  Its a lovely course, but even when I played it 12 years ago it was vastly overpriced, as compared to its neighbor to the north, Lahinch.

Not nice. As an Aussie, you brits should respect the fact that the Americans provide much of the annual funding to maintain these courses in the best condition.

What a great place for golf. My list has got to be:

1. Old Course, St .Andrews

2. Turnberry, Ailsa Course 

3. Royal County Down
