Sad that I can't make this. If anyone wants to go play the course some weekend before the event to check it out, I would certainly be game.

Not a bad idea, it's not much difference for me to drive there than it is to drive down to Kittyhawk.

Not a bad idea, it's not much difference for me to drive there than it is to drive down to Kittyhawk.

Only about an hour out for me...so I could potentially do it depending on the weekend.

@iacas , I know that handicap will figure into this event and just wanted to let you know that I've stopped posting rounds for the year. The Aug. 15 number was 21.8. I'm definitely still interested in playing and doubt that the quality of my golf game is going to change much by then. Is that going to be much of an issue for you guys?

Why have you stopped posting? Just curious. No, it won't be a big deal.

Keeping track of all my swings, frankly, is an effort. My club championship is over with and the numbers are depressing. I'm just not seeing an upside in it, playing the way I am. I had a much more enjoyable round yesterday by dispensing with it.

Don't worry, I've never held a handicap. My estimate is somewhere between 15-20...but it's hard to say since I haven't golfed much this year...and it's all been at the same easy course lol
