That was a great win for Rickie.  Its nice to see him follow up his solid 2014 season which he did well at that majors but could win.  With another solid season where he got off the snide so to speak.  I think it would be good for golf if he could get a major under his belt in 2016. He's a fan favorite who has some serious game.

I wish Stenson held it together better toward the end to get the win. I like Fowler, but some of his fans on display on the course behaved like idiots, to put it mildly.

Agreed, shouting "GO RICKIE!" just as Stenson putted/hit isn't very respectful at all.

I do think that Fowler deserved another win though, I feel like he's been overlooked lately despite putting on quite some performance.

My countryman will win soon enough again anyway

I am not sure I understand your question. I am embarrassed that people in my country were actively cheering for a golfer to fail, it doesn't matter who that golfer is. Sure, cheer your own guy on as much as you want, you don't need to cheer another guy's misfortune.
