2 large buckets in the early morning. 58F to 60F temperatures with wet and cold balls. I felt like I was making pretty decent contact, but the balls were lacking oomph, again. Or maybe I was? :-D

In any case, I was hitting my targets only with 1-2 clubs up.

Played 18 holes this afternoon. The putting practice Ive put in has really helped. Im rolling the ball better than I have since the beginning of the year. I hit the ball ok other than 2 bad holes. I shot a 39 on the front and didnt keep score on the back.

2 more buckets at the lower range. Hit a bit further as it was warm. Needed to work on the setup with my spare driver.

1.5 buckets this morning. 60F to 65F. I dried off about half the balls I drove and they consistently went 20-40 yards further. That was pretty conclusive.

I think it has something do do with the temperature and the surface of the balls.

Went to the range this afternoon and focused on my centered turn and flattening the shaft on the downswing.  I filmed my practice to make sure it was working.

Had a lesson today. We worked on my transition. After working on this by the end of the lesson my swing looked totally different. This was by far the best lesson Ive had with my instructor.

Hit two buckets.

Spent a lot more time with the LW doing more drills and hitting the 80 yard target doing a friendly "comparison contest" with one of the guys at the range. Got 3 shots to land within a foot of the pole, but he hit it twice on the bounce. Darn. Maybe next time I can hit it at least once?

Did some mirror work today working on my position at the top of the backswing and the start of my transition. Nice slow reps. Will work on the drill given to me by my instructor later this afternoon.

2 more buckets last night.

1.5 more this morning. Waiting for my son. Focused on a "nice and easy" swing on a half a bucket. Not sure if any swing that gets the ball more than a hundred yards can be categorized as "nice and easy", though? Seems like a golf swing exerts a lot of energy. . .

Played in my clubs Calcutta today. We finished tied for 1st at -11. I eagled the par 4 second hole by myself. Its a 280yd hole and we had 30mph winds today. My drive was about 3yds short of the green and then I chipped it in. Overall I hit the ball pretty good today and I made a couple putts.

Hip turn drills, and acceleration type drills.

I've noticed that my fastest speed seems to be too soon even with my wrist loading drills. So, trying to maintain the loading until after impact on one swing, then doing the "normal" swing on the next swing. Repeating.

Mirror work at the gym using a short bar instead of a club. Focused on centered hip turn and getting the hands further out at A5
