I can't help you, my wife is a golf nut just as I am. She very rarely begrudge me my days on the course, or my trips with friends, and I don't complain when she gets to go on a golf trip with friends. Good luck in finding the balance that works for you.
Hear, hear! Finally... no sixes, no doubles, no penalties!! 11 pars and 7 bogeys for a birdie free clean 77.
Not sure if I will ever do that again. Calls for a couple of Scotches!!
@Vcize it’s not unbelievable at all that a beginner, or a not-so-good golfer, can swing a club fast (especially a person with a baseball, hockey, lacrosse, etc. background). But when the data doesn’t seem to match up, there will be questions. And of course some people embellish, or don’t truly understand their numbers.
I’d say if you’re piecing together a set, go with something more appropriate (stiff). As you get better, a stiffer shaft will likely help you get better dispersion. And a more appropriate club will probably wind up staying in your bag longer before needing/wanting to replace it. Just my two cents.
Its an awesome game. Welcome
