shot an 82 today...
wayyy too much leaf litter... lost a ton of balls in the 1st cuts of rough... even putting was a chore due to all the leaves blowing onto the greens... 2 club wind didnt help much either

shot an 82...
it was reallly really windy today...
toed one that went 280... caught another as flush you can get and it went 120...
i had a shot at maybe getting a 78 but a relatively easy short par4 was dead into the 3club wind... see above 120yrd drive... took me 5 shots just to get near the green...
it was an incredibly fun round tho

Great day for golf in New York, couldn't ask for much better in late October. A relaxed 42, including one of those rare birdie things.
Good company and draft beer on tap in the 19th (10th) hole afterward.
Yessss, a great day for golf.

played 36 today in high wind shot 75 both times

Good play.

Texas huh? We're getting our windy season too. I shot even par over 26 holes today. (had to skip one hole, slow guy in front of me.) Three birdies, three bogeys. Very easily could have finished with 3 birdies in a row, but I don't think about the putts I miss, just the ones I make. hehehe

Cool brisk morning at Belmont yesterday in VA!

Temperature around 50 or so, with some gusts of wind... struck the ball really well, and was happy with my 88 to finish the day.

Got myself into a little trouble on a couple holes on the back 9. But scrambled out. 44 going out and 44 coming in.

    • However, have you ever considered using small summer houses for such setups? They offer a great solution for creating dedicated practice areas, especially for an affluent audience looking to enhance their outdoor living space.
    • I've played Bali Hai, Bear's Best and Painted Desert. I enjoyed Bali Hai the most--course was in great shape, friendly staff and got paired in a great group. Bear's Best greens were very fast, didn't hold the ball well (I normally have enough spin to stop the ball after 1-2 hops).  The sand was different on many holes. Some were even dark sand (recreation of holes from Hawaii). Unfortunately I was single and paired with a local "member" who only played the front 9.  We were stuck behind a slow 4-some who wouldn't let me through even when the local left. Painted Desert was decent, just a bit far from the Strip where we were staying.
