Almost broke 90 on Santa Anita today. Ended with 92. Had 6 total pars, and 3 blowup holes, when I realized I could break 90 on this course.

Beautiful weather for golf with some old friends! Little did I know I would shoot a poor round of 94 and break my driver shaft.

I picked up a new kind of minimalist carry bag the other day and decided to load it with some old clubs

I have around that I don't use any more.  Totally different putter, demo driver Just mix it up have some fun.

Ended up shooting 6 under before my only bogey on the last hole.

Not sure what that tells me, maybe just have more fun and play a little freer

Oh and the carry bag is awesome  Ping Moon-lite.

Shot a 93 today after going about a month without playing well.  Went back to the basics to find my swing.  Bunkers were terrible, played like cement so could have been lower.  Couple of blowup holes.  Birdied a nice par 4 while hitting my driver well all day

Almost broke 80 for the first time in my life, but ended up getting an 80 because of a little five footer over thought. But I was killing the ball and  putting extremely well (except on the last putt of the day). Hopefully I'll get it next time.

Driver:  10.5 Superfast Burner 2.0

3 Wood:  15 Fairway Launcher

4 Hybrid:  22 Rescue

4-PW Irons:  RocketBallz Irons

Putter:  Backstryke Marxman

Played a course in the area for the 1st time today.  After the 5th hole it poured down rain the rest of the day.  Not a dry spot on my anywhere.

6566 yards, par 72, rating 71.6 slope 135.  Shot a 79.

I can't wait to go back and play it when the course isn't soupy and I'm not drenched like a drowned rat.

PS.  We didn't have to worry about slow play today...hardly anyone on the course.

The most difficult distance in golf is the six inches between your ears.

I shot a 82 at Bellevue Muni, just east of Seattle. The last year and a half I float with 70's, but have only broke it once. I find my self with a hole or two or three that I have a brain fart. I am really not that anxious to break 80 really!, i really like where my game Is.

53/46  on 70.8/122  was trying out different swing. Not good score but pleased with ball striking. Hit 16 fairways, no G.I.R, but good short game. Blew up 2 holes. Also I walked the course (pull cart), temps were high 97 F. Good thing my bag has an insulated pocket for water bottle and it worked very well.

Played in a 4 man best ball outing yesterday and got 5th place.  43 on the front 35 on the back.  Just could not get anything going on the front nine. Pared hole 1 but it was all down hill from there.

99. Just dreadful. I mean, it was rainy and soggy, but that's no excuse. Couldn't hit anything. If it wasn't for my short game I could have easily shot 110+...

Finally broke 80 with flying colors. 76 par 72 Slope 123 and short only 6200 yards links style.. 1 birdie putt that completely circled the hole and popped back out. Simple putting kept me from shooting a close to par round.

I know its not great, but shot my lowest score ever yesterday, 49/57 for a 106 (I'm usually around 113-117).  Second shot on the first hole stuck it 6 feet from the pin, of course I went on to two putt.

45/45 90 this morning on a very difficult local course. Proud of what I shot! Hit almost every single fairway with my Titleist 913. Love that club.

Hybrid: Titleist 910H 19 degree Mitsubishi Kiani Blue stiff flex shaft
