Driver was hit or miss, and the miss cost me at least two strokes.

Irons were so-so

Putting was much better. Adjusted the grip, got my right hand more up, less air between my left and right hand, really unified the grip, i was hitting my lines all night. As could be seen with my zero three putts, very happy about that. Had some good one putts as well, not many of them were gimmies for par.

Still need to work on set up, i think i am overcompensating for standing to close by standing to far away. I need to get more even weight distribution between my heel and the balls of my feet. I should be able to lift my toes up and not have to worry about balance.

Shot the worst score I've had in the last 3 years this morning......... 103. 71.9/129. Terrible day of putts and water hazards.

Made a spectacle of myself in front of my kids, lost a ball on a par 5 approach from only 180 yards with a perfectly struck 4 hybrid where any ball within a 100 yard radius would be visible, couldn't drive on one hole 6 off the tee for a 9 on a par 4, 5 putted on a 200 yard par 3 that I actually stuck off the tee, made a par 5 in 2 and proceeded to putt off the green, duffed a 6 iron 165 yards onto the green... That was just the front 9.

Shot a 93 (adj, 92) - off par 72 - at Harding, which I'd never played before. I was fortunate to be paired with someone who had played there before, and told me about the course. Great experience all around. Birdied the final hole, too - that's always fun.

E 35, 3 birdies, 1 bogey, 1 double bogey, 4 pars

Didn't have a particularly good ball striking day, but took advantage of my opportunities and scrambled pretty well. Still have issues with the driver, i think i am getting my elbow stuck behind me again.

I also have a problem with my irons sometimes. it feels like loosing position at the top of the swing, from there i know i will hit a pull cut. If not then the ball might be a shankish type shot. Its a very weird feeling, and i am not sure whats going on with it. All i know is it doesn't feel good, and i should just step out of my swing at the top of the swing.

+5, 74 with 2 birdies & 2 doubles...I lost 4 balls today- 2 in the water on 6 and 2 provisionals OB 11 & 18- in both cases I found the first balls in bounds but skulled a wedge OB on 14 (that I found).  Not nearly as in control of things as last week when I carded a 72 after starting with a 3 putt double.

Most importantly I was even par on the 9 selected mystery holes, so a good chance to take low gross again this week in Men's League at Copper Creek.

Shot a personal best 103. Stayed out of the sand and utilized just one ball. :) Careless errors could've gotten me under 100. I struggle hitting Woods! Need a little more work on the short game!

played Longaberger finally...from the back tees 48/50 = 98  with a 75.0/140 at 7243 yards in 4.5 hours. My driver went home on the 7th hole. I had a good time, the course was very nice. they have those fluffy Tee boxes, and a beverage cart. I am stupid to play this course from the back tees first time out...bad driver.

Broke two new records at my new home course. On the front shot a -1 35 on the front. 4 birdies and 3 bogies. On the back shot a new high 50. Tripled 10th hole, an 8 on a par 3...wheels completely fell off. Still shot near my handicap with a disappointing 85 on a par 72. Only disappointing cause of the front but really a good final score.

Broke 90 today following the rules legitimately for the first time ever.  Shot an 88 on a Par 72 Muni.  I am happy to have shot 88 and because I played better than I scored.  Had one triple and one double.  Everything else was bogey golf.

Not a good day for ball striking, no big numbers, just a vanilla 6 bogeys, 3 pars. Though i had two 3-putts, that sucked.

Went to the range afterward. Figured out i was not getting my weight forward enough at impact. I wasn't even doing the preset drill right. When i figured that out again, i was back in the game. Really hit some shots at 50%, and things were going well. Still trying to figure out the driver, that's a bit more tricky, though i am getting there.

Finally back to decent golf. Shot an 83 at the Meadows in Lincoln Park, NJ. Greens were in very rough shape. No excuses but it didn't help my putting. I hit the ball off the tee well and had good distance control on almost all wedge shots. Although no birdies (has two tries inside eight feet and missed, doh) the six pars was pretty good. Love my garmin, it's a big advantage on courses I've never played and makes me a bit more conservative when I need to be. Also love the way my new SC Monterey swings, way more confident and growing very round.
