I played yesterday at Poppy Hills in Monterey. Great course! The weather was fantastic. My game, no so fantastic. 51 front 9, 62 back for 113 total. Lots of 3 putts, a couple of 4 putts. Going to try again today at a local course, lesson tomorrow, tournament Sunday.

You're not at a loss for great courses in Monterey.

I played today at Stagg Hill (6461y130sl) in Manhattan, KS. Not so 'great course'. But $15 to walk 18 was great. Weather was not good. 44°F and windy. I birdied no. 1, but ended the front +5 (41). Shot 38 on the back (a bogey, a double and a birdie). 79. 28 putts.

I shot a 88 in the morning and a 92 in the afternoon. Go figure, it was cold and rainy this morning with 5-10mph winds. This afternoon, it was sunny and 68 with no hint of wind. Maybe I am one of those guys that plays better in not so great conditions.

I had a flat day on the course today. Couldn't seem to get the putts to fall and shot an 80. One birdie and several missed ones!

Yesterday I shot 109 on an easy course. Bummer, I had 4 pars and 4 bogeys and blew up a bunch of holes. I have an all day clinic today and a tourney tomorrow. I hope I can get it in gear! The good news is that I am hitting greens more - it's my drive that has gone wonky.

82. I can't even describe it. I had 5 three-putts (career high) and yet only had 33 putts. Crazy.

i sucked the big one today and shot a 95. that's about the worst score i've posted in a long, long time. my putting was about the only thing keeping it from going over 100 - i only had one three-putt in the round. i don't know what my problem was... i felt mis-aligned somehow all afternoon, like my lower body was pointing one direction and my upper body was pointing in a whole other direction.

Cold and super windy today. Shot 83. With all of the rough dieing and with me being the only one on the course I walked the rough on most holes — I picked up 55 balls.

First round with my new 28 handicapp . Played in the weekly junior 9-hole competion and shot 48 which is level par for me. (68 par course). I started with a par on the first. Then took a 7 on the par5 2nd nearly chipped in but my tee shot when in the rough so i lost a shot there. All good so far but it went pear shaped on the third, shanked one OOB then secod tee shot off a tree and when i got to the green three putted . 4over on that hole. From then on i hacked my way round the course topping a number of shots because i was sooooooooo angry . I managed to save my round by one putter on the last 4 holes All in all a bad round but i got away with it a bit.

78 with two birdies :) and two doubles :(. I hit a solid shot into the 18th green and it bounced off a sprinkler head just off the green and was lost in the scrub. Oh well, that's golf.

100. I had one birdie and lipped out 2 others (dang!). I won two skins, tho, and that helped me to the tune of $65!

Best round ever! I finally broke 70. I shot a 69 on a par 70. This was my first round under par. I don't thing my ball striking was extra good, yet I chipped better than normal and I made putts from everywhere. I am finally getting the feel of that Scotty Cameron. This round followed up an even par 72 the last round that I played.

i managed to recover my game a bit and shot an 84 yesterday after that horrible 95 i shot saturday.

I had my best game ever, but it was a rocky road. I shot a 58 on the front 9 and a 45 on the back, for a grand total of 103 . I had 5 pars , 5 bogies , 3- quads , and 4- triple bogies . I only lost 2 balls and had 1 - 284 yard drive, and 1 - 260 yard drive (measured with GPS) I putted great, but I'm still having hell with my Irons.

I shot 100 (52 /48). I won a sleeve of balls (whoopie). But...I won 2 skins, one for a par with a pop the other for a birdie on a par 5. My buddy was on the green in 2 on that par 5 and three putted!

I had 71 which is 1 under on my course being a 9 hole course. I was 4 under standing on the 8th/17th tee and it is a par 3. It normally is an 8 iron being downhill with no wind but the wind was a factor today so I had to hit a 3 hybrid. I tried to hit a high cut as the wind was from the left but I dragged it into the crap, took a drop, a bad chip and made a 6. A triple!
