So we're applying Van Gogh/Monet/Picasso filters to videos now? Warning - super high volume, you might want to mute. Jason Day from the eyes of European masters. Imagine the havoc Cubism would wreak on radar. :-P

Even though he's a lot taller than I am, here's a swing enjoy looking at.  Matt Kuchar.  It's a really simple, one-plane type of swing.

Rickie Fowler - Never noticed the huge change - backswing looks a lot different. He used to go from steep to shallow, now it's the opposite.

I've been working on changing that for two years!

Watching the transition I start saying "oh god, this is going to be awful..." Then he starts doing many good things and it ends up pretty good from A4.5 on.

The camera angle is pretty bad.

I mean... he's gotta be intentionally hitting a fade here, right?

    • DAY 10: Before dawn (in the dark?! 😆) session in the golf pit:  Orange Whip Trainer LagShot 7i 5i-7i-9i-PW +2 Hybrids (2/3) Emphasis on slow, methodical, consistent setup. (60 min).
    • I said that the gap narrows. Good putters still putt the ball on good lines but randomness now creates some misses that wouldn’t occur on the perfect green. Poorer putters now occasionally get a good break and the ball falls in.    The worst putters, who would never make a putt on the perfect green, now might sink the occasional putt (assuming the randomness is extreme enough). But the best putters, who would never miss on the perfect green, now miss with some (random) regularity.
    • Gap remains same. The good putters adapt just like they adapt for slow and fast greens on different courses. They will ram them home to hold the line better through the bumps on short putts and lag putt more defensively to have easier 2nd putts. I had slight inclination to say the gap would even increase. BTW, the luck factor helping/hurting either group to any significant level is BS.
    • I believe women’s club heads may also be a different weight than men’s. This is to give them a similar feel for the shorter club length and lighter shaft. If you have decent swing speed, it may be better to get fitted with your current clubs and have them adjust length, lie and swing weight as @Vinsk suggested. If they shorten the club length, they will add tip weight to get the swing weight correct.
    • Best 92 ever for me. 2nd time on this course that has many elevation changes and hidden hazards. 6 penalty strokes and never really put anything together. But also hit everything solid. I'll take it any day.
