Tour Player Photos for Tournaments

I've noticed during tournament telecasts when they show a graphic of a player's bio or scorecard, they always show a photo of the player, usually a 'headshot' portrait.

Here's the deal, though.  These pictures are terrible!  It's as if they catch each player at the end of a practice round and say "hey, quick photo please?" then snap off a poorly framed, poorly lit, unflattering angle, snapshot on a crappy background.

What gives here?  The production quality of the tournaments are so good now, one would think a decent photo of every player could be provided for the telecast producer to use.

Really really strange.
