I see there are already a bunch of Orlando threads here but I have my first ever destination golf trip planned so I had to post.

We will be playing:

4/16 - Southern Dunes

4/17 - Remington Gold Club in the AM and Kissimmee Bay Country Club in the afternoon

4/18 - Falcon's Fire in the AM then replay in the afternoon

4/19 - Shingle Creek Golf Club before heading back to fly home

Any thoughts on these courses?  Any good local food joints in these area?

We originally looked at Myrtle Beach but bang for the buck led us to Orlando.

Hi @Gipper ,

Southern dunes is a nice course to play. I would consider to change your plans for 17/4. First because those courses are not that good and second because I'd prefer to play two courses at the same location, if I would play to different courses at one day. I suggest you play OCN (crooked cat and panther lake) or Mission inn ( El Campeon and las Colinas) instead.

For tips on food ask @David in FL

I absolutely agree with @MacDutch on the 17th.  Either would be a great alternative with OCN being closer to you.

Assuming that you're staying down around the part of Orlando where the courses you're playing are, you'll find every genre of food imaginable.

Thank you @MacDutch and @David in FL.  I will see if my father in law can change the courses on the 17th.   He worked with a company and got these as a package.  I think budget was part of it as he is paying for all the golf because I am getting the hotels.   I am a higher handicapper so I am just excited to do my first destination trip.
