I am required to take a market visit for work this year, and from a business standpoint Chicago is where I need to go.

I always try to incorporate a round at a cool course when I travel, so Id like to play at Cog Hill #4.

My only worry is, I need to make this trip happen by the end of April... I am pretty sure the course will be open, but will it be playable (Muddy/freezing)? Can any Chicago TST peeps provide some input?

You should be fine with springtime conditions. The course is bent grass and is a hilly course and drains well. If it rains a lot before the day you play, you may encounter wet conditions to play.

Cooler temps are a probability if a northern cold front settles in, pack a windbreaker.

Good Luck with Dubsdread my friend. Expensive, tough, fun course! Honestly, you'll be fine in april as long as it doesnt rain for a couple days before hand.

Thank you. I had a great round at Bethpage Black on my last work trip, so we will see how it goes.
