I read a ton of golf advice all over the net. Man i like this site! However I don't come across a lot of article on course management and techniques used in course management. I read this article on another site and thought i would share it here for everyone to enjoy. It is extremely well written, let me know what you think.....I definitely think it will help my game!

thanks and happy hacking!

Sounds like the guy is repeating information that has been around for "decades" on course management. Not a bad thing.

Just from what I read in the article, I have been aiming towards safer landing areas for the past 45+ years. I think some of the old information on golf teachings  should be brought back to life for every generation of golfers. The old stuff helps explain some of the newer stuff being presented.

Welcome to the site. If you like that article, you will like this book better. I deleted your link as we don't allow links to commercial sites unless they are a sponsor.

    • My school just announced similar last night:  masks for all, regardless of vaccination status, when indoors on campus, with some exceptions like if I'm alone in my office.  Students who plan to return for the fall term must either be vaccinated or have an "approved exception or medical exemption," although that's been announced for a while.  Tomorrow is four months since I got my second shot, so I'm good to go as far as that goes. Edit to clarify:  I have no problem with the policy.  "I'm good to go as far as that goes" was my saying I don't have all my lesson plans for the term already in order, that sort of thing.
    • My wife has a cousin whose wife is completely off the rails.   I mean it’s a planned pandemic, micro chips and Bill Gates are behind it….or worse.   She has had so many posts taken down on FB for the misinformation and crapola that she spreads.   She, albeit briefly, was posting about how the vaccine gets in your blood and makes you magnetic.   So yes, she believed that you could stick keys to your head because of the vaccine. kind of makes deluding yourself you can make that forced carry (when you can’t) seem sane….
    • The anti-vaxers have a ton of excuses.  I have heard many of them.  I have an unvaccinated friend (yes, I even have stupid friends) who quite often "cherry-picks" articles from alternative publications that support his view and he texts them to me.  Anything to support a bad habit.  Smoking is good for you...
    • It would be nice to watch Covid slowly just fade away as vaccinations increase. Unfortunately the dopes who have refused to get it will dream up some other reason why Covid faded. Or we’re in for another lockdown as Delta and other variants surge and they’ll say, ‘ see..what good is the vaccine any way.’ Again, profound ignorance.
