What Hat Would You Wear as an Amateur in a Major?

You're an amateur and you've made it into a major. Congratulations!

You now get an international stage to rep whatever you want on your hat. What are you wearing?

A lot of guys will wear the hat from the course they're playing, or a tournament they've won. Some will rep their college, or even one of golf's major brands. Some go hatless. So what would you wear?

Me? I'd be going outside the box:

Yea. I think I'd go with a TST hat on Thursday, a Jets hat on Friday, a Bubba-Gump shrimp hat on Saturday (because I made the cut like a boss), and then on Sunday, I might go out there Robert Rock style because YOU DON'T OWN ME.

If I was in a major I'd wear a majestic, sparkling crown made of the rarest metals and festooned with jewels you haven't even heard of . .and an iPhone port.  What else would one wear in fantasy-land?

 

In all seriousness, I'd probably wear something that supported me getting there - like maybe my training facility, home course, etc.

      I would say your back nine is the second nine you play that day. It's part of what makes getting some of those holes tougher. Or, if 18 holes are played pretty often, out of A, B, and C, and you often play A and C, A is the front and C is the back, regardless of the order you play them in. That way not birdieing C #7 isn't overcome by birdieing the easier A #7 on a day you played it C-A instead of A-C. But, at the end of the day, nobody really cares except yourself.
