I like to first say I am not a Day or Rory fan. I hate both their poses when they miss puts and look around to pose for camera's. I also feel Day is too slow and uses it to  aggravate his playing partner.

Why was he not penalized when his ball moved when he grounded his putter. It was clear on the TV and I heard a fan say "the ball moved" in the background. I think it was when he was on the fringe on the 13th or 14th. He was also 2 holes clear behind for the last 5 holes while DJ was waiting on tee's to go.

I never noticed him to be a slow player on TV.

If you mean the 14th, there is the video. *Note the title of the video is wrong.

They have a close up of the ball. Here is Jason's putter addressing the ball, image on the left. The ball when the putter is in the backstroke, image on the right. Notice the ball has not moved at all. You can watch the video, the ball never moves. I have no idea what that guy in the crowd was smoking. The ball didn't move.

Umm... DJ wouldn't have been on the tee box behind Day. DJ tee'd off two groups in front of DJ. Day was in the final group of the day.

Awards, Achievements, and Accolades

Yes I know DJ was in front. Dj waited to hit on 15 while day was not done with 13. Dj finished 18 before Day finished 16. Day seemed way behind Lingmerth.

When I saw it live I thought it moved. When I backed it up on my dvr and looked 2 more times I thought it moved. In this video version it does not seem to move. I did not save it.

When I first saw it, it appeared he grounded the club behind the ball and when he pulled the club back the ball seemed to rock.

Does not mater now no one else seems to agree with me. All is good for me as long as DJ, Babba or Kucher is in the hunt.

Now, maybe, we're getting somewhere. The RoG have their own defintion for "moved" and rocking doesn't fit.

A ball is deemed to have "moved" if it leaves its position and comes to rest in any other place.
