Tortorella is grossly over-rated as a coach IMO. I'm not really sure why he keeps getting coaching jobs other than being a "known commodity."

Well. ... I suppose that all things being equal, they may as well win. Who knows, maybe someone in Ohio might actually pay attention to hockey if they do.

I got into hockey several years before the CBJ came into existence.

I may be a Canadiens supporter, but I'm also an American. That made for some painful watching of last night's World Cup game.

That was the sort of defense I had come to expect out of the Federal League semi-pros we had skating around Dayton in recent years. I'd have to guess that Tortorella isn't likely to get anymore of these type of assignments any time soon.

Tortorella is grossly over-rated as a coach IMO. I'm not really sure why he keeps getting coaching jobs other than being a "known commodity."

Agreed. The fact that he's a somewhat colorful character (sort of a wannabe Mike Kenan) is part of it.

Well that and he did win a Stanley Cup as a head coach. Granted it was 2004 so it's almost irrelevant to today's NHL.

He had some pretty decent players on that team. That CBJ roster is quite a bit thinner.

      I agree with @pganapathy about removing some clubs. I would recommend removing the 2, 3, 4 and 5 irons for now. Play with Driver 3W 5W 3H 5H 6 iron 7 iron 8 iron 9 iron PW ( you don’t have listed) 52 56 Putter Th 60 wedge can be difficult for new players, but you could keep that If your 3H is adjustable, increased the loft to be more like a 4H. Play with these on course and see if you can get a feel of the actual yardages for each club and especially the gaps between them. It may take 10 or more rounds. A par 3 course is helpful for determining the gaps in the irons and some woods too. A device like a Shot Scope H4 can really help give you your actual yardage on course.

      Day 12: Same as last couple days, but focus was on recentering aspect of flow. When I recenter earlier I make decent contact most swings but if I recenter late or not at all it’s a roll of the dice.
