I saw this on Instagram earlier this week, but there weren't a lot of details yet. The bottom is very flexible and has an interesting spike pattern.

Rory McIlroy is wearing Nike’s new Lunar Control Vapor Shoes at the WGC-HSBC Champions in China this week.

The shoes are nice, but they look relatively similar to the other shoes that Nike has released over the last couple of seasons. The real difference is on the sole. Nike has introduced a new spike system they’re calling “traction channels” that will increase stability. According to Nike, the new traction system was inspired by snowmobile treads and their ability to grip the snow.

The Nike Lunar Control Vapor will be available online in both men’s and women’s sizing on November 22.
