It's time to re-grip my Adams Super S set (3 wood, 3 & 4 hybrid and 5-S). Have a new driver and putter, happy with stock grip on them.

For the new grips I am looking for something with a softer feel without being as soft/slick as tradtional wrap. Anyone have something they enjoy using or recommend a particular brand/type?

Thanks for any suggestions.

I can recommend two.  My favorite grip is from Iomic, I use the X Evolution.  These grips stay tacky virtually forever.   Another really good one is from Pure grips, the DTX.  This grip is pretty firm, but really textured, and the rubber compound retains its tackiness well.  I believe they sell softer-feeling grips, perhaps someone can help point to a specific model.

When I want a grip change for the sake of trying something new, I'll do ONE club with a new grip.  Just had a Wynn Dri-Tac midsize put on my 5-hybrid.

It's kind of 'spongy,' very soft and very tacky feeling as new.  I've heard these grips will wear out quickly though.  I'll play it early next year and decide if gripping more clubs is something I want to do.Product Detail Hero

My grips are golf pride CP2 pro.   Love them on all clubs but putter.

Second these. A great grip that is very durable.

There was a thread somewhere about your favorite golf product that helps your game, or something.

My answer was my grips; Golf Pride CP2 Wraps. I absolutely LOVE these grips.I have them on every club put the putter. My stock grips were in fine condition but I don't like most stock club grips because they're too slick and thin for me. As soon as I re-gripped all my irons I was in love and in dramatically improved my game overall. I ended up doing all my clubs with them.

I grip my own clubs now too, which is kind of fun. Doesn't save THAT much money, but it's fun and I know I'm doing them right. Since I go +1 on the tape often times shops will ignore that request (I know because I re-did one for practice...)

I put a lot of play time on mine last year. I cleaned them only once about 2 months ago with warm water and Dawn and they're like new again.

I don't even ever wipe down my grips when I'm playing, or after I've played, or anything. Just a once a year or once every 6 months cleaning.

The Lamkin iline was a nice grip. Hard to find in stores these days so i switched. Had a solid firm feel with good tack. Lasted me the entire season. 1 to 2 times a week up until November 2016. Changed to Golf Pride multi compounds. They are ok not worth the price point in my opinion. Will most likely change by July of this year.

I second the Dri-Tac.  Very comfortable and has helped the finger joints as another positive.  Seemed to have lasted on my playing clubs.   I've now re gripped my practice set from the stock grips.   Can get a little slick when wet however.

Pure Grips DTX.

They last forever and they mimic a corded grip. I honestly can't remember when I put the grips on.

September 2015? I know that's when I put one on my driver.  Did you have them before that?

@AWebb85 what I did last time I decided to go with a new style of grips, was narrow it down to 4 grips I liked, and re-grip clubs with those 4 grips.  I left them on there for a few rounds and range sessions, and then went with the one I liked best.  I have stuck with that same grip since, Golf Pride Tour Wrap

I recently regripped all of my clubs, as well as my brother who keeps his clubs at my place, and a few hand me downs for my kid sister (fringe benefit of Golfsmith going out of business was its steep discounts on grips). I put Golf Pride MultiCompounds on about 30 clubs. I did go out of my way to put the MCC Plus 4s on my wedges. I liked the softness and lack of taper for choking down for touch shots.

    • I’m 72.  Admittedly, I play the 6500 yard tees.  I actually think fairway bunkers should be in play.  Play the course as designed.  I’m also in pretty good physical shape. This year I shot my age (or better) quite a few times.  I shot 35, even, on the front one particular round.  We joined a couple strangers on the back.  I had 5 birdies!!  Tied my record for birdies in a round at 7.  But, could only manage 3 under 33 on the back for a total of 68.  I also hit ALL 13 fairways that day.   Just yesterday I decided almost everyone is wrong in terms of driver loft.  Everyone seems to recommend more loft for seniors.  Unfortunately, that makes more spin.  Bad!!  I’ve dialed my Mizuno ST 190 to 7.5.  I teed it a bit higher to enable hitting it higher without the club loft.  My launch monitor indicates really significant gain!!  Can’t wait for Alabama trip ti see sister and next season!!!  Most probably know how easy it is when you play your best.  Easy and FUN!!!!

    • I did mine in the morning before my massage here at home. In the snow. After throwing snow (I don't like to say "after snowblowing" or "blowing snow." Sounds… not right.). Looking like @Daveje97 and @phillyk and @georgep need to get back on the horse, at least as far as updating the spreadsheet goes.
    • DAY 48 January 20.   Worked through 9 drills from the Tour 25 Blueprint Challenge in preparation for playing a round of golf tomorrow (2 plus hours)  and then headed to the putting green where I worked on short putts with the STAR Drill, and then putts from 20 and 30 feet... 20 in a row into a 3 foot circle around the hole... and I was done.
    • I would like to have water jugs on the course before all that. Very tired of having to carry around multiple water bottles every time I play. (To be fair, a lot of places have made the water on the beer cart cheaper, but I’d still like to get water from a jug for once)
