I was playing this par 5 on sunday and i had about 220 left to the green. I was off in the right rough on a downhill lie with overhanging trees in front and a dogleg right around more trees to get to the green. I hit the cut shot with my 17 hybrid and got the ball hole high on the green. Amazing contact. (i didnt even feel the ball leave) It was probably one of the best two or three shots ive ever hit. And then made the eagle putt to boot!

I had about 80 yards left into a par 5. I overhit and slightly pulled my SW, but it spun back off an embankment to about 10 feet. I lipped out the birdie putt.

I also chipped in for par on another par 5. If the ball hadn't hit the flag, it probably would've run 20 feet past the hole.

I was playing this weekend, and have been playing golf about 3 times a week during the summer. I have recently come back to the game, from a 8 year break. I bought myself some new Callaway X-18's and have enjoyed them. I went to play with my friend who plays golf as a amateur pro and has some nice Taylor Made blades... We were on a par 3 and I decided to try out on of his blades. It was a elevated tee about 190 out. I took his 5 iron and hit a beautiful fade which rolled about 4 feet from the pin, giving me my first birdie of the round. I finally got to feel what the pros feel. This feeling has made me only think about golf, can't wait to get back out there.

Hole #10 this weekend at Crockett's Ridge, par 4, severe dogleg left, uphill, multi tier green, pin in front, slick as glass. Ranger told us if you're above the flag by more than a foot you'll need a wedge to get back on the green after the putt... he was right - buddy on the green in reg... left with dbl bogey. I had one of the best tee shot draws of my life - ran up and left only about 58yds to green, wedge to within 2 feet pin high - 1 putt for birdie.

Hit a 7 iron from about 175 to 10 feet on the first hole a couple days. Missed the eagle putt of course, but starting out 1 under is awesome!

This was a few weeks ago, but it may have been my best shot of the summer.

It was the 18th hole, and I needed a par (par 4 372) to win a bet that I wouldn't shoot under 90.

I had been fading the ball off the tee all day, and this hole was a dogleg right (I'm lefty), so I decided to close my stance and try to hit a draw, which only works half the time for me.

(In retrospect, I probably should have just hit 5 wood to the apex of the dogleg, but I'm pretty immature when it comes to putting away the driver.)

I ended up yanking the shot right over a treeline and out of sight.

After a few expletives, I tracked down the ball, and it luckily landed right in the middle of the adjacent fairway.

My shot into the green was about 125 over a line of trees with no sight of the pin.

I hit the best 9i of my life and stuck it about 8 feet out.

Of course I lipped the birdy put, but I did knock in the par for the bet.

First hole bunker about 40 yards to the pin, hit a near perfect bunker shot just rolling pass the hole on the high side 2 1/2 feet pass the hole, make the putt to save par.

120 yards approach shot to the hole, hit a partial pw pin high but 10 feet above the hole make the downhill left to right breaker.

Had about a 20 yard pitch. Ball was sitting up almost too nicely. Hit a high flop shot that released perfectly just rolling over the lip for a routine birdie.

Also a putt that was severely downhill, and had to start it out about 8' to the left, but it dropped in the center for another solid birdie.

A solid round that was plagued by a triple at 10, and a double on 11.

Hit a Pitching wedge on a short par 3 to an elevated green went dead straight at the flag dropped short. I went on to make the birdie from around 7 feet

They say golf is like life, but don't believe them. Golf is more complicated than that.

Haven't played in a couple of weeks (sore back) but I was 3 feet from a hole-in-one par 3 92 yards. Not much but was a great shot

175 out in the right rough, behind trees. Hit a huge cu t 4 iron to 6 feet - missed the birdie.
