  • iacas changed the title to Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi

Very interesting, and possibly telling choice; makes one wonder what Episode 9 holds for the final act

Carry on my wayward drive

There'll be pars when you are done

Lay your weary wedge to rest

Don't you shank no more

Interesting title, but as someone else pointed out on another site, Jedi plural is Jedi.

I think the title "Last Jedi" simply refers to Luke being the last Jedi at that time, meaning there could be more once Luke trains Rey and perhaps others?  After all, since no others were trained as a Jedi, Luke is in fact the last Jedi when the story begins.

This title is more indicative of Episode VIII being focused on Luke and perhaps his relationship with Rey.

Episode 9 has the title that really ties it together.

They are working on this movie at the company I work for, they do post production related services.   They security around the Star Wars assets are insane, big safes, security cameras, separate server farms, etc.

What really irks me is they do all that, and all it takes is one person who has a brain fart during an interview or maybe says something while drunk. They do try and isolate the pieces so that everyone knows just enough of their bit.

No trailer yet and it's March. Last time we were getting set/location photos here and there, this time, it's pretty quiet.

Perhaps it's both. If Luke dies in this movie, Rey could become the last Jedi.

Or the force could just spawn another Jedi like Anakin.   :-)

I was worried about VII after I heard from someone George Lucas said something like "they made this one for the fans." I liked VII a lot.  Im pretty confident they will do a good job with this one and can't wait for the trailer.

    • However, have you ever considered using small summer houses for such setups? They offer a great solution for creating dedicated practice areas, especially for an affluent audience looking to enhance their outdoor living space.
    • I've played Bali Hai, Bear's Best and Painted Desert. I enjoyed Bali Hai the most--course was in great shape, friendly staff and got paired in a great group. Bear's Best greens were very fast, didn't hold the ball well (I normally have enough spin to stop the ball after 1-2 hops).  The sand was different on many holes. Some were even dark sand (recreation of holes from Hawaii). Unfortunately I was single and paired with a local "member" who only played the front 9.  We were stuck behind a slow 4-some who wouldn't let me through even when the local left. Painted Desert was decent, just a bit far from the Strip where we were staying.
